i think my #1 piece of advice to people joining the pokemon irl community would be to have some ideas of things your character would post about when you're not getting asks. despite what it might look like based on some of the bigger bloggers, this community doesn't run on asks--it's a text post-and-reblog-based community with occasional asks thrown in. i see a lot of blogs die off because they make an intro post and reblog a couple ask games and then just...never post anything else, so they're not enough of a presence in the dashboard and tags for people to interact with.

so. please don't get discouraged if you're not getting asks! most people don't get all that many, and the people that do are outliers and typically people who have been consistently active for a long time. stick with it, keep posting about your character's life, and reach out to others with reblogs or in-character asks when you feel brave enough (i know social anxiety can suck), and you'll find people to interact with.

Wow. Thank you everyone for all the follows that came in last night. Genuinely wasn’t expecting that!

We currently have five blogs on the villain document who are looking for interaction. If you’re interested please go take a look!

Is this purely for villainous characters who have their own blogs dedicated to them, or would there also be resources here for villains in general? For example, villainous characters who appear and speak and act in the course of a non-villain blog's story, or who send messages or mail without having a dedicated blog to themselves?

Just for blogs. I have no way of really organizing peoples blogless side characters into the document— or maybe I’m misunderstanding?

I think in the case of these it would be more of a solo writing exercise or an anon gimmick so. Sorry but no.

Ooc of course: I refuse to tag it as animal abuse as well since I think filling the tag that is likely used to bring attention to real life issues of animal abuse should stay dedicated to that kind of thing.

Pokémon is not real. First and foremost. If Pokémon in bad situations harm you it’s your own responsibility to filter that tag.
