New one shot!

Hey guys! I just found this one shot on my computer that I must have written around VidCon. I have to say, I'm not to happy with it but I'm going to post it anyway. So yeah I know it's not the best but I hope you enjoy it and please be kind xx

Zoe and Alfie were lying on their bed in a hotel room in Anaheim, California. They were answering emails and editing, nothing special for youtubers like themselves. Zoe, Alfie and all their Youtube friends, both British and American, had been at a party for the start of Vidcon. As they were both tired from jetlag and the craziness that vidcon is, they headed back to their hotel room earlier than the others.

Alfie really enjoyed being like this with Zoe. They didn’t need to do anything special, just lying next to each other, shoulder to shoulder, was enough for him. He glanced at her and thought to himself how beautiful she was. He couldn’t stop himself from kissing her temple before going back to working on his video.

As Zoe felt Alfie’s soft lips on her head she shivered and looked at him with a sweet smile. She thought to herself how much she loved just lying next to him, feeling his warmth and hearing his breaths next to her.

She snuggled into his arm a bit and continued writing an email to a company she had a coming-up project with.

Alfie smiled to himself as he finished editing his video for next  Sunday and he decided to put on his new favorite album; Ed Sheeran’s X. He put it on shuffle and the first song that came on was Thinking Out Loud. Alfie had never been one of those who listen to lyrics in song, he just enjoyed the sounds but for some reason he paid attention to the lyrics this time.

I’m thinking bout how people fall in love in mysterious ways; maybe it’s all part of a plan. Me I fall in love with you every single day, I just wanna tell you I am

 He reached for his phone and started typing as he smiled to himself.

*brr brr* Zoe’s phone vibrated on her bedside table and she reached for it to see who texted her.

“This song makes me think of you”

Zoe giggled and got that warm feeling in her stomach she recognized as love. Whenever she was with Alfie she had more or less of that feeling. She started paying attention to the song herself and as she listened Alfie was surfing acting like nothing.

So honey now Take me into your lovin' arms Kiss me under the light of a thousand stars Place your head on my beating heart I'm thinking out loud Maybe we found love right where we are

She sat up even closer to her boyfriend and whispered in his ear “I love you so much”. He turned around to look at her which made their faces be only inches from each other. They looked each other in the eyes and as Alfie leaned forward slightly to kiss her, he smiled so warmly and sweet.

Before he kissed her, he said “I’m so happy right now”.

Okay so I decided to post my zalfie one shot. Keep in mind that english isn’t my first launguage and I’m aware that it’s by no means perfect. I’d be happy to get feedback though, as I really want to improve my writing. I also want to mention that this does not relate to any recent events and I don’t know where I got the idea from. hey, i'm back from my vacation and i finally have time to write again! though, at the moment i don't have any ideas for ones shots myself so if you have any ideas/requests, let me know and we'll see if i can do something

omg i gained so many followers only from posting that one shot snd it makes me so happy but i also really feel that i have to write something new now! and k really want to but it's seems impossible to find the time ugh

It makes me so happy to see that you guys liked the one shot! It honestly means the world and I can't wait to write a new one. It'll probably be next week but because I'm working I don't know if I'll have time. Hopefully I can write another one before I go on vacation in 8 days :)

I love you- a zalfie oneshot

Okay so I decided to post my zalfie one shot. Keep in mind that english isn't my first launguage and I'm aware that it's by no means perfect. I'd be happy to get feedback though, as I really want to improve my writing. I also want to mention that this does not relate to any recent events and I don't know where I got the idea from. So here we go!

”No, please don’t say it. Please Alfie”

“Zoe come one, why are you so afraid of this, of us?”

“I’m not afraid. I just…” Zoe trailed off and the tears in her eyes started to slowly roll down her cheeks.

“Zoe you know how I feel about you. And you know how you feel about me. What’s the problem?”

“I just… I don’t know Alfie, okay?”

“No, it’s not okay. This is so confusing for me” Alfie sounded frustrated but he wasn’t angry. He could never be angry with her. Ever since they met and started to hang out, Alfie had loved being with her. From the very first time, they just clicked and they’ve been spending a lot of time with each other for the past 5 months. They both couldn’t imagine life without each other. Eventually Alfie realized that what he felt towards Zoe was more than he would feel towards a friend.

“I’m sorry Alfie” Zoe said with despair in her voice. She didn’t want to hurt him, god she never wanted to see him hurt by anything, but she was so scared to hear him say those words.

“Stop saying that you’re sorry and explain to me instead!” Alfie looked at Zoe, the beautiful girl who he wanted to spend every second of every day with, who he wanted to hold forever but who wouldn’t let him.

“I…I don’t know.” Zoe looked down at her feet. She couldn’t bear to see his face. She didn’t want to see the sad in his eyes when she knew that she caused it.

Alfie let out a deep sigh and started to walk away. They were in his living room but his family was out. Zoe had stayed at his place for a couple of days. They had both been looking forward to her spending a few days in Brighton but her visit hadn’t turned out like either of them expected.

“Alfie don’t walk away, please!” Zoe stuttered the words out between her exasperated sobs.

“What do you want me to do then?” Alfie turned around to look at her and put his arms out in a hopeless manner. “You know what I want and I really don’t know what else to say or do here”

“I can’t put myself out there again, alright? I can’t be that vulnerable again, I can’t and I won’t.” Zoe almost screamed out the words while she sunk down on the sofa. She put her head in her hands and sobbed uncontrollably. “I never want to be that close to someone again so they can rip out my heart and stomp on it. I will never let myself get that sad again. So please Alfie, just stop. Forget this ever happened”

Alfie didn’t say a word. He was standing on the same spot halfway out of his living room and he was just looking at her. He tried to understand what she just said and he struggled to sort out his thoughts and form a proper sentence to reply with.

Zoe slowly lifted her head up and glanced at the boy through her tears. He looked so confused and so hurt. She didn’t want to see that expression on him so she turned away quickly.

“Sorry” She said again and started walking quickly out of the room. “I’m just going to grab my things and I’ll leave” She whispered. She had to pass Alfie to get out of the room but he stretched out one of his tanned and lean arms to stop her.

Alfie finally snapped out of his daze and realized he was about to lose her. He stopped her from bursting out of the room and grabbed both her shoulders.

“Zoe, look at me. Please, just look at me.” He said gently. “Come one”

Zoe barely moved her head but she did glance at him. “What?” She said quietly.

Alfie wouldn’t break eye contact and he started to slowly remove her tears with his thumb. He touched her so softly and Zoe felt like her face was on fire under his touch.

“Zoe” She flinched when he said her name. “I will never hurt you the way he did. Never. I don’t ever want to see you sad again. I will do everything in my power to make you happy and I’d rather die than break your heart. I would never take advantage of you and I want to spend my days trying to make you happy. If you would just let me”

The girl stared at him. He sounded so sincere and deep down, she knew it was true. Alfie would never hurt her. She knew that but she was still so afraid.

“I know you’d never intentionally hurt me, I know that, but...”

“Did you even listen to what I just said? Zoe, I love you and I know that you don’t want to hear it but I do. I love you so much and seeing you sad breaks my heart. All those times you called me in the middle of the night because of something he did, my heart broke for you. I wanted to hurt him the way he hurt you and I wanted to hold you and make sure that you were okay”  Alfie couldn’t stop the words from flying out of his mouth. He had to say those things he’d been holding in for so long.

Zoe couldn’t find words. It was as if all her knowledge of the English language had disappeared and she couldn’t think of one single word to say. So she did what she had wanted to do for so long. She kissed him.

She kissed him, carefully at first but when she felt his soft lips kiss her back, she kissed him more passionately than she had ever kissed someone before.

When Alfie eventually pulled away he looked her in the eyes and she said the words he had wanted to hear for so long. He felt like those words filled a void in his heart he didn’t even know existed.

“I love you too”

guys, i kinda wrote a zalfie one shot the other day and i'm actually quite happy with it.. it's the first fan fic i've ever written and i'm not sure if i'm gonna post it or not, what do you think? i would like to get some feedback on it though and like how i could improve my writing but idk, should i post it?
