Starting a trauma and LGBTQIA+ therapy private practice! Looking for support!
So, I've decided to leave my job as a clinical director at a large agency and start a private practice with a couple of my colleagues to support trauma survivors, LGBTQIA+ teens and adults and families. I'm looking for support to get initial startup costs covered so I can get started as soon as possible.
Any signal boosting or a few dollars you can send our way would be appreciated! Thank you!!

i don’t know who i am
i don’t know what my role is
i don’t know how to live
i feel like i spend each moment just doing what i can to try to figure it out
all while never figuring anything out at all
am i here
i don’t know
what is here?
is it me
is it life
is it now
is it never
is it fate
is it anything
is it nothing
lost barely scratches the surface
more like screaming black screams into the night
while the sky swallows them whole
and i am left here alone
silent
i know there’s a point though i never seem to actually
grasp
what it might be
where do i even begin?

I appreciate all the folks who have followed me on here. I've begun a long and arduous therapy journey and my poetry has evolved into more of an emotional journey than a Fandom one as a way to manage and cope.
I would love to share them but not sure if folks would be interested. Please like or comment if you would be so I can gauge interest!
Thank you and take care!

Started therapy.
What’s something you did to get out your comfort zone this year?

my soul, you see
it knows you
(I think)
it slides through time
(as it always has)
searching for what truth?
(this truth)
what are we but dust
from the same star
our blood running together
and our pain too near
let us walk this dark path
two travelers seeking the sun
we can find our own truth
as long as you let me keep
your hand in mine

I would find every way to worship you
sweet words of peace
howled cries of pain
at knowing there is
never enough
(never enough)
that I could do
to make you love me
as much as I love you

bring me to the land of sweet dreams
let me slide my lazy gaze
down the length of your body
drinking in the curves and
bow string taut muscles
that you call your own
how unfair it seems
the only way I can go
is to follow you there
in thoughts only
I would, if I could,
speak aloud this need
so it fills this space
we keep between us
and instead you could
take my hand
bringing me there yourself
how nice.

Do you mean to say
that after all this
you’d still choose me?
I can’t see with your eyes
and don’t know why
or how
you might make such a grave mistake
don’t you know
what a piece of work
I can be?
I don’t get it.
Will you show me?
One day I might even believe you.

well, hello.
you know, at some point
I just sort of
noticed
that there’s a lot about you I admire
in ways that seem
appropriate
like your wits, and your laugh
(but, then)
also the way your hair falls just so
and how your hands, and those fingers
(Dear God)
wave about as you speak
and then,
suddenly
I just sort of
noticed
I might be in love.
(with you)
(oh no)

Only you know how
to crack open my ribs
and expose all
those horrors
in the hollows
and the gaps
I can’t say why
they lurk so deep
but I know they are
ready
for your steady hands
to reach beneath
my skin and
bring them into the light

I care nought for the drama
of this world
Not when I can imagine
how your strong arms might feel
wrapped around my shoulders
The ache in my heart
will be filled with the scent
of your skin
against mine
teach me how to find peace
and I will teach you how to find love
Let us leave all these cares outside the door
to our hearts

Howl your heart at the stars
and I’ll follow along
riding your screams
with the wind through the
black night
Our shadows,
they will dance and get lost
in the dark
and our souls,
how they will twine ‘round each other
like smoke
until the sun creeps
over the horizon
at
last
settling us like dew
among the flowers

I wish I knew what it feels like
to be wrapped safely in your arms
feel the comfort of your heart beating inside your chest against mine
To know how your back moves as you breathe
and to feel the sweet hot warmth of your skin
I wish I knew what it feels like
To tell you the things I think
Every moment we are together
Instead of keeping them trapped behind my teeth
Until they spoil in the back of my throat
I wish I knew what it feels like
To let my guard down with you
Laugh at those things I know we shouldn't
Cry when my heart breaks
Welcome you into the me behind the mask
I wish I knew what it feels like
To tell you that I love you
And for you to say it back
Without having to hide it underneath words that come close
But aren't enough
I wish I knew
I wish you knew, too

I was staring at your legs;
those shapely,
beautiful
parts of you
I never knew were so full
of what I needed
to be complete.
So I stared
oh, how I stared,
eyes walking those lengths
as one strolls a hot summer day
in the park.
How can it be
that I feel so compelled
to make art
about those
legs
of
yours?
it’s ridiculous.
really.
but not enough to stop staring.
(I mean--
let’s be real.)

you have music in your soul
for I hear it each time
your eyes flash
the light of your smile leaks
all those melodies
you save only for me
play for me darling
alight upon my hand
like a songbird
freshly awake in the
early days of Spring
for the harmony that creeps
in the shadows of your footsteps
brings joy and life in a way
the requires
me to dance

Bend your body
(that long, strong, beautiful body)
the one I know will be mine
all too soon
I can taste it
in the back of my throat
as your soul seeps down to my own
let them mix
(as they should)
in my aching hot core
‘neath the dark space
my heart once held
there’s a chance
(a good chance)
you might have what I need
in that body of yours
so let us try
dear heart
let us try
and who could possibly know
what might come
but perhaps
with some luck
we’ll find out

I can’t possibly imagine
life without your
sweet hot blood
under that flushed skin spread thin
across your strong
silent bones
calling to me
howls so deep
they sink into my toes
this is my night
and you
are my stars
