"Hahah, I know how weird it can be to get strangers wishing you a happy birthday. From how Candy talks about you, you seem like a very nice person. So I thought this would be the perfect chance to get to see you."

Nathaniel looked worried, should he have gotten him another plant? A rare one would be very difficult handle and would need more care. "Oh, I'm terribly sorry. I should have considered how much care they would need."

"Happy birthday, Jade. I managed to bring you a rare flower from Cuba, it is called a Ghost Orchid. I'd like to thank you for all of the times you've spent with Candy. She really enjoys spending time with you. So please, take it."

"Dang, just how many people is Candy telling about my birthday… you’ve gotta be the third person to congratulate me who I have. No clue. Who you are.” Jade blew his bangs away from his forehead, and dismissed the train of thought with a shrug of his shoulders.

"That’s just Candy for ya I guess. Anyway, thanks man. You’re gonna wanna be careful with that, Ghost Orchids are really difficult to keep outside of their natural habitat, plus the sun’s really beating down today and they don’t tend to like that." Jade had already begun to worry about the plant, and as such had already accepted the gift.

"Hello?" Alice knocked on the door. "My name is Alice, I am rather new to sweet Amoris, I have been told to hand in my trip form?." She creaked the door open slightly, she hadn't seen the president before this date, as he had always never been there. Always, Vanishing almost.

Nathaniel was sitting down looking at his homework assignments that were due a week earlier. He looked up to see Alice, he stood up and received her form. He looked over it, everything seemed to be perfect."Thank you. You know, most people get this part of the form wrong but you got it right!" He added her form to the others that were perfectly stacked. "Well, that is everyone now. Thank you, also before you go. Can you mark off your name in here? It shows the people who have turned in their forms."

Nathaniel picked up the pace on his work, he didn't want to keep Darcie waiting of course! Soon Nathaniel had finished his last application and sorted everything in place. He looked over at Darcie who was finished counting the money. "Good! Everything seems to be in place now, thank you for your help. I really appreciate it!" Nathaniel opened the door for Darcie so that the both of them could exit. He looked the door and the both of them made their way to the bus stop.

When they got in the bus it was almost filled to the max. Luckily Nathaniel found two extra seats, it was a little cramped but at least he found a spot where the both of them could sit. The ride was getting a little bumpy with sharp turns which Nathaniel did not like at all. Oh, if only I had taken my car today...

Nathaniel heard Darcie's questions abut him which of course surprised him, he didn't think that she payed a lot of attention to him. He was a little happy knowing how much she knew about him. "Well usually if I do not have a lotof work in the student council I go home and do my homework right away. It is better to get over with them, when I'm done with my homework I like to read my books." Nathaniel was impressed that she remembers that he feeds the street cats, he still does it time to time but he never thought that she would care to remember.

There was a sharp turn in the bus which made Darcie bump into Nathaniel, Nathaniel was trying to hide his blushing face. Why are you blushing? There's nothing to be embarrassed about, this was just an accident and you shouldn't feel so nervous! What is wrong with me?! " I-I see that it was an accident, it's okay. This road isn't really the best so I hope the driver goes on with caution."

It seemed like forever but they finally made it to the mall, "Is there any stores you'd like to go see, Darcie? I owe you for helping me out with my work. It seems pretty reckless of me asking help for someone in the last minute. Once again I'm sorry about that! And if you'd like after we're done shopping we can get something to eat in here, sounds like a good idea?"

Nathaniel gave out a little laughter at Darcie’s surprise,” You think this is a lot of work? Usually I stay here late than other students to finish things up.” Nathaniel sat down and started to look through files, his eyes looked up as Darcie spoke, sprawling her sheets on the table. For some odd reason he felt a little nervous from the way she said that, his face started to turn a little pink,”Oh well, of course. It is only fair to return a favor.”

Nathaniel started to work on his stack, reading them carefully and adding sticky notes to the ones that had mistakes in them. He didn’t notice Darcie until he felt Darcie pressing herself against his back, he was startled and almost let out a gasp. He saw the stack right in his face but couldn’t comprehend them since his mind had a short blackout from Darcie’s response. He started coming back to reality in about 10 seconds,”O-Oh, yes right! Wow you’re really fast, I’m only on my 8th one… Congratulations..”

Congratulations?! What kind of response is that? Oh yes, congratulations on finishing your work, here you earn a star! Can I be even more embarrassing?! Okay, pull it together Nathaniel. I have to work faster or else I may seem like a slacker.

Nathaniel saw her from taking his pile and reading through them, even though she did work faster than him he didn’t want her to think he can’t do it himself. But knowing her she won’t leave. “No no, it is okay. You did my part and I’ll do mines. If you’d like you can start counting the money.” Nathaniel was sure that in the future he’d ask for her help seeing how impressive she is. He started to think on what she would enjoy doing,” How about after this we can go to the mall? I’ll pay for whatever you want, I am returning the favor after all!”
