what’s beautiful about the locked tomb series is that ALL of the characters are cringefail and pathetic in their own unique way. all of them except pyrrha

seems that Chrome has around 60-65% market share, so it’s not totally dominating the market yet but it’s worrying that we’re basically reliant on Apple and Microsoft to hold the line.

Origami Miles Edgeworth, designed and folded by me from a roughly 47 cm uncut square paper. Featuring the packing that takes some level shifters plus shaping to get results.

It's not a perfect design, but I'm new to designing origami. I had a lot of fun folding the model and like him anyway! Something of a departure from the Jojo models I was folding with facial features, as this model has a more typical blank face. His cravat is a bit exaggerated which made it more fun to shape.

If I end up folding like 8 separate folds of him, well. I do have a tendency to fold the same thing over and over if it makes me happy.

decided I'm going to switch to setting up my planner every other week. I also got a tattoo on Monday. I'm taking 3, 400 level classes and 1 600 level course. it's gonna be a tough semester. but it's gonna be good.

semester starts on Tuesday so let's get back into the swing of things. I left lots of space this week so I can take notes on stuff.

the main problem i have with america is that nothings old as hell there. i cant be so far away from a castle it damages my aura

Yet another origami Giorno Giovanna w/ background stand arrow. 

Designed and folded by me from one uncut square (same crease pattern as before).

Paper used is black unryu with paint that was splattered on before folding as shown above. 

While I think the previous fold of him may have been more all-around successful, I am still happy with this one! Also, shaping was done with just water for wet shaping again.

Hoping to finish up other folds in progress soon!!

Things are happening on reddit

Nothing new today--just a side by side comparison of old folds from about a year ago versus newer folds, since I was reflecting on progress earlier. The older models (on the left) were before I really learned more about the concept of packing in origami design. Old origami Kakyoin and new origami Kakyoin with old origami Giorno and new origami Giorno test fold.

Plus an old model I folded a year ago of Rika, designed by Yanhui Lai, that I don't think ever got posted. I really like the color change on this design.

I haven't been using my planner as much as I should. I've been overwhelmed with my todo lists and my systems fell apart just a bit. so here's next week's spread and a special appearance of an origami Dragon made by @paperzest sitting on a piece of coal I found in the bay a few years ago.

Unbelievably annoyed with the protesting advice I see from the most out of touch lefties on here. "You always need to show up in all black and you ALWAYS have to leave your phone at home." 1 there are different kind of protests and you need to know what it will look like/what groups are organizing it and 2 you are going to get people fucking killed

you either die having done stuff or you die having done nothing. the end result is the same either way and you don't know when it'll come. do the stuff you want to do scared and alone or else you might not get to do it at all

people are saying do it scared, but you also gotta do it alone. you'll miss out on so much you want to do if you wait til someone will do it with you. do it scared and do it alone.

anyone else have a word they absolutely cannot spell as in no matter how many times you read or write this particular random word your brain just absoltuely will NOT play ball for me its "genius" and "parallel"

It's a lot healthier to go for a daily walk than to sign up for a gym membership you won't be using because you hate that kind of exercise. It's a lot healthier to eat a frozen meal than to skip a meal because you were too tired to cook something healthy. It's a lot healthier to take a quick shower than to procrastinate an elaborate routine for days. Don't aim so high that you won't be hitting anything!

Ace dragon!

Origami Western Dragon V3 designed by Shuki Kato, folded by me from a square sheet of 90 cm unryu paper painted in the colors of the ace flag before folding. (The orange-y part is because of a sheet of bleeding tissue that was previously treated with MC on my cutting mat—I struggled to entirely clean up the dye from before.) Overall, I’m satisfied with how it came out and this was a fun fold. It’s my 4th time making this particular dragon model, so I was happy to revisit it and see improvement since past folds. The model has diagonal symmetry, not book symmetry, and the stripes were painted onto the paper horizontally, which is why the colors landed this way. Might get more photos of this particular dragon later.
