So I got this app, NHK for school, and it’s wonderful immersion for Japanese learners.

It’s made for school kids. It goes from grade one to middle/high school. (I’m using grade one, personally.)

They have a variety of school subjects. My favourite are the grammar and vocab ones, specifically these guys

Although I don’t understand a lot of what’s happening (I’m a TOTAL newbie. Only three weeks of Japanese under my belt) the little practice exercises after each section is so helpful!

I’m sure it would be fun for a high level learner as well, and it’s a nice way to get some insight into what kind of stuff Japanese children are taught, ahaha.

As a Yen-lover, one of my favorite parts of the season is actually Jaskier telling Geralt that Yennefer is an evil, nefarious, stinky and sexy witch, and when Geralt agrees with him, Jaskier immediately changing to-- hey wait now, only I'm allowed to say that because I'm saying it correctly and you're not just stop that.

Thinking about Jaskier and how he would make sure that every day, he gives Yennefer a new flower to put behind her ear.

Buttercups, dandelions, daises, violets. Every morning without fail, even in winter. He grows them inside just to be able to do that, an array of pots and petals, and whenever he has to travel he comes back with a new flower and seeds to plants.

"So that you always have a piece of you with me!" is his reasoning, and she lets him, trying and failing to hide a smile.

One day, he has two flowers with him — a dandelion and some lilac. Instead of tucking them behind Yennefer's ear, he wraps them around her finger, using the stems as a band.

"Marry me?"

Burn Butcher Burn is the song for everyone who had a strangely close same-sex friendship before the age of 21 which ended in a huge falling out that went kind of like a breakup except it's annoying that you don't get to call it a breakup because you were in an almost-relationship and even though they're technically just an ex-friend they feel more like an ex than some of your actual exes
