“Those poor boys”
“She deserves to be punished too.”
“I’m not saying I support rape, but-”
“Sorry to say - she deserved it.”
“She put herself in harm’s way”
“But if she was fingered, then that’s not rape.”
“She ruined their lives.”

Just a reminder.....
In light of some recent allegations that came out about Neil Gaiman, it's okay to have complicated feelings when a beloved celebrity does something shitty.
It's okay to feel betrayed and let down when a beloved celebrity does something shitty.
It's okay to have to re-consider your relationship with a shitty celebrity and their work.
It's okay to have once loved and looked up to someone who turned out to be a huge piece of shit.
It's okay to still love a shitty celebrity's work while recognizing that the celebrity is a shitty person.
The shitty and unhealthy thing to do is to dig in an insist that your fave celebrity did nothing wrong.
/this is why we can't have nice things meme

Sometimes before I have to tuck into a big job with a bad deadline, I need to mentally prepare myself with a few warm up sketches before hand to loosen the ol’ noggin.
They’re quick and messy, but make me giggle! It’s the sugar that makes the medicine go down.

“I always thought the word “common” was an interesting thing. It would be used in “Fanfare For The Common Man” as this idea of the noble savage, whereas it was a real insult in Sheffield to call someone “common.” That set off memories of this girl that I met at college. She wanted to go and live in Hackney and be with the common people. She was from a well-to-do background, and there was me explaining that that would never work. I hated all that cobblers you got in films and magazines in which posh people would “slum it” for a while. Once I got that narrative in my head it was very easy to write, lyrically.” - Jarvis Cocker
