to say "I think transamputee transition is okay when done by medical professionals, but not any transition that puts someone's life at risk" is both such a naive non-understanding of amputation (a very risky and often last-resort surgery because of the potential for death or permanent unintended damage) but also dumb as fuck otherwise. I hate to tell you but most transharm terms are not. life threatening. nobodys life is threatened because a transbully called them an idiot consensually, and many transids that dont involve being harmed by another person are life threatening when transitioned to, like transsh, transed, etc.

As the person who coined the term transid, I want to remind everyone that it has always been against transition that would harm oneself or others. Despite never being stated when coined, I had figured that would be self explanatory. Also the term was made in a time before harmful/harmed ids had existed so it hadn’t even had the possibility to factor those in.
