ೋ• 『    ☆   』 •ೋ    The   words   have   little   in   them ,   for   Mason   has   little   to   no   concern   for   sentiments   with   his   clone.   for   he   hardly   finds   it   possible   to   like   anyone.   even  dearest   sister   mabel   can   grind   against   his   nerves   like   nails   upon   a   chalkboard ,  especially   after  this   entire   dilemma.  her   lack   of   care   for   him   had   resulted   in  the   kiss   if   his   obsession.   h  i   s    muse.   and   with   that   he   feels ....  enraged.

『   ↟↟    』 It   was   clearly   a   question  he   had   no   idea   how   to   answer.   he   had   liked   wendy   as   if   she   was   his   entire   world   about   two   years   back.  &   while   that   was   not   really   a   positive   thing   he’d   been   so   determined   to   get   her   to   like   him.   &   with   it   he’d   hurt   himself --  but   could   he   blame   himself   for   that  ?   at   least   he’d   gotten   a   bit   more   experience   from   it.

❛       mabel  &   wendy  ?   jeez,   that   sounds   like   it’d   never   happen   here.  ❜

『   ↟↟    』  Regaining   his   composure  a   bit ,  he   focuses   on   the   positives   instead   of   the   negative.   he   had   a   lot   better   reasons   to   get   embarrassed   rather   than   an   old  crush  who   just   so   happened   to   still   be   pretty.  speaking   of   which ,  with   her   words   he   goes   a   bit   red -  faced   again ,  waving   his   hands   a   bit ,  insistently   as   he   talks.

 『   ↟↟    』 Dipper   was   quiet   for   a   few   moments.   it’d   been   a   while   since   the   two   of   them   had   talked --  perhaps   because   the   world   had   been   ending   for   god   knows   how   long .  days ?  weeks  ?  months  ?  years  ?   with   his   control   of    time   &   space ,  all   things   had   been   destroyed  ,   turned   inside   out.   &   while   everyone   else   had   suffered   ,   he’d   been   locked   away   in   a   perfect   prison.   but   had   he   ever   considered   it   to   be  ?   hell    to   him   had   been   nirvana   to    mabel   &   his   brother .  it   was   a   shame   that   he   had   to   strip   tyrone   of   his   happiness.

『   ↟↟    』  A   simple   reply.    for   what   do   words   ever   do   to   tyrone  ?   throughout   the  summer   he   had   begged  him   to   listen ,  to   give   him   even   an   ounce   of   respect.   but   he   did   not   listen,   he   never   listened.   tyrone   had   no   respect   for   him ,   no   respect   for   himself.   &   it   was   a   shame ,  they   could’ve   had   something.   but   now ,  they   were   strangers.

"happy birthday, dear sister." mason never really liked celebrating his birthday, maybe because he saw no real point in it, or maybe he just likes focusing on his sister rather than himself. but either way here he was, offering her one of many gifts he'd gotten her for the occasion. but, best start with the most special one, right? it's a small jewelry box, and inside of it is a simple, but intricate diamond & sapphire bracelet.

CERULEAN GAZE RISES TO connect with the other’s, gloved hand resting lightly against her face while the other reaches for the gift in a surprisingly ginger movement. What could it be / since when did Mason like their birthday / perhaps he’s just trying to be nice or rather he’s done something && decided to attempt BUTTERING her up before breaking the news. No, knowing him the Constellation merely wants her to be happy on the anniversary of their birth. Really, should the world be celebrating such a curse ?

      “ To you as well, dearest brother. ”

Comet then reaches under the table to hand off one of her own gifts for the occasion. Several others sit in her room but this one is the most important. To Mabel, a book is worth almost nothing, but the young woman recalls that as a child, Mason had a favorite. It’s what the contents of the package are. The twins might not care about anyone else in this backwater town – but they certainly want each other to be happy.

ೋ• 『    ☆   』 •ೋ    Mason   looks   down   at   his   younger   counterpart.   while   they   once   had   looked   like   perfect   reflections   of   eachother ,  things   were   different   now.   while   he   was   capable   of   physical   change ,  it   was   clear   his   counterpart   was   not.  if   anything   the   only   change   he   could   sense   was   emotional ,  &   by   that ,  he   meant   he   could   feel   the   emotion   roll   of   the   other.  &   it   dripped   from   his   voice   like   toxin.   mason   thinks   for   a   moment ,  before   speaking.

ೋ• 『    ☆   』 •ೋ    While   phrased   as   a   question ,   there’s   nothing   emotional   about   it.   the   words   are   cold ,   bright   blue   eyes   calculating   what   the   other’s   next   move   will   be   as   each   second   ticks   by.   a   head   tilt ,  as   he   questions   the   other   with   a   bit   more   umph  to   his   words ,  it   sounds   real   enough ,  and   the   look   in   his   eyes   changes.
