Addarax stops playing his guitar and asks, "Wanna smoke some weed?"

I'm mildly triggered, and I say, "But what if I have another psychosis?"

"You're in Maniscura now, dude. There's no such thing as psychosis here. Just good fun. Trust me."

"O-Okay," I stammer. "I trust you."

Addarax gives an innocent smile and says, "Okay." He gets up and goes to the mantle above the fireplace. Fetches a leather satchel. He sits back down and unbuttons it.

I set my hot chocolate on the table, ready to smoke, getting a little excited now. Addarax reaches into the satchel and takes out a rainbow grinder, an iridescent pipe, a silver Zippo lighter, and finally a little plastic baggy of weed.

He hums the same tune he'd just been playing on the guitar and puts some weed into the grinder. He gives me a mischievous smirk as he grinds it. I smirk back. He looks back at the grinder, opens it, akes out a little handful of freshly ground flower, and packs it into the pipe. He puts the weed and grinder away and sets the satchel aside. Lights up the pipe...
