S- Splitting Up Together A couple’s marriage is reignited by their divorce. They still live in the same house, alternating weeks, with one living upstairs and doing the parenting while the other lives downstairs in the guest apartment. Based on the 2016 Danish series.
P- The Trustee A driven but stubborn detective finds unlikely help from her precinct’s trustee, a larger-than-life ex-con finishing out her prison sentence doing menial tasks for the police department.
P- Untitled Single Dad Project An intellectual but emotionally challenged single dad moves to Queens with his two young daughters and forms an unlikely family with the other residents in their apartment building.
Dramas
S- The Crossing Refugees from a war-torn country start showing up to seek asylum in an American town. Only the country these people are from is America and the war they are fleeing is 250 years in the future.
S- Deception When his career is ruined by scandal, superstar magician Cameron Black has only one place to turn to practice his art of deception, illusion and influence: the FBI.
P- Doomsday When a catastrophe occurs that’s ripped from the pages of a post 9/11 doomsday book, the team that dreamed it up is brought back years later to prevent the disasters of their own making.
S- For the People In the Southern District of New York Federal Court, aka “The Mother Court,” six brand-new lawyers work on opposite sides as they handle the most high-profile and high-stakes cases in the country, all as their personal lives intersect.

S- Somewhere Between Superstar news producer and fiercely loving mom Laura Price isn’t crazy: She knows her daughter Serena is going to be murdered. She doesn’t know who the murderer is or why she’ll be killed, but she knows exactly when it will happen, where and how.
P- Unit Zero A brilliant but unassuming CIA engineer and single mom leads a team of desk jockeys into the field as secret agents. Overlooked in the workplace, their invisibility makes them perfect for the CIA’s most covert missions.

Hannah Royce’s Questionable Choices A woman has made some interesting choices throughout her life – namely, having three kids with three different men – but all have led her to having a very unique, loving, blended family.
S- Me, Myself, and I Examines one man’s life over a 50-year span, focusing on three distinct periods: as a 14-year-old in 1991, a 40-year-old in present day and a 65-year-old in 2042.
P- Real Time Chronicles the relationship of two twentysomethings, Nora and Drew, who go from being co-workers on opposite coasts to working in the same office.

S- Gifted Two ordinary parents discover that their children possess mutant powers. Forced to go on the run from a hostile government, the family joins up with an underground network of mutants and must fight to survive.
(currently pushed) The Passage What begins as a character-driven government conspiracy thriller morphs into a post-apocalyptic saga with vampires. The series spans over a century and focuses on a young girl named Amy who must save the human race. Based on Justin Cronin’s fantasy book trilogy.
S- The Resident An idealistic young doctor begins his first day under the supervision of a tough, brilliant senior resident who pulls the curtain back on all of the good and evil in modern-day medicine. Lives might be saved or lost, but expectations will always be shattered.

P- Spaced Out Follows a working-class genius and his struggles to fit in with an established team, all made more difficult when their job is building a rocket to Mars.
P- What About Barb? A psychotherapist tries to cut ties with her most overbearing patient but is unsuccessful and gains an annoying family member in the process. Female-led reboot of 1991 movie.
P- Where I'm From The only girl in the only mixed-race family in the suburbs of Philadelphia grows up dealing with real-world issues like race and gender while never losing focus of her life goal: to become a Laker Girl like her idol, Paula Abdul.
Dramas
S- The Brave A heart-pounding look into the complex world of our bravest military heroes who make personal sacrifices while executing the most challenging and dangerous missions behind enemy lines.
S- Good Girls Three “good girl” suburban wives and mothers suddenly find themselves in desperate circumstances and decide to stop playing it safe and risk everything to take their power back.
P- Redliners A pair of former operatives get reactivated and drawn into a larger conspiracy while attempting to maintain their undercover lives.
S- Reverie A former detective specializing in human behavior is brought in when the launch of an advanced virtual reality program has dangerous and unintended consequences.
S- Rise An extraordinary working-class high school drama department and its incredible students come alive under a passionate teacher and family man whose dedication to the program galvanizes the entire town. Inspired by Lou Volpe as chronicled in the book Drama High.
P- Shelter Real-time “extreme event” medical series follows the nurses and doctors of an understaffed Brooklyn hospital that becomes the borough’s last viable trauma center after a catastrophic hurricane wreaks havoc on the city.

LIBERAL ARTS STUDIO: ABC Studios TEAM: Kenya Barris, Larry Wilmore
ABC is considering a spinoff, to be introduced as a backdoor pilot episode this spring, for Black-ish co-star Yara Shahidi. The spinoff would focus on her character Zoey Johnson in college. Zoey — Dre and Rainbow’s popular, entitled, stylish and socially active 17-year-old daughter — is currently college-bound on the mother show. This season, to bolster her applications, her dad got her an internship at Teen Vogue.
A backdoor pilot will air late in this season on Black-ish, with guest stars:
Chris Parnell (SNL) as a college administrator
Matt Walsh (Veep) as a college administrator
Trevor Jackson (American Crime) as a freshman at the college
If this goes to series, Walsh has a guest-star/recurring option and Parnell and Jackson have series regular options.

Ana Ortiz (Devious Maids) will play Angelina Torres, a well-meaning, fierce single mother-lion who believes in putting her kids first, even if that means crossing a few lines. After her fiancé, Joe, dies, it looks as though she and her two children will have to move until Joe’s brother steps in.
Swoosie Kurtz (Mike & Molly) will have a regular role, but no information has been released on her character thus far.
Robert Baker (Texas Rising) will play Officer O’Brien, Taylor’s nemesis who works on the base.

Carol Burnett (The Carol Burnett Show) will play Vivian Valmont, the house’s current owner and an eccentric, larger-than-life actress.
Mary Holland (Blunt Talk) will play Wendy. She is a bit neurotic and a helicopter parent who is hesitant to move in with Vivian. They do not see eye to eye about a lot of things, but she concedes because the deal is too good to pass up.
Matt Oberg (The Real O’Neals) will play Tim, a teacher who views life as a never-ending education. He’s a people pleaser, who always tries to do the right thing and make everybody happy, only to find that he can’t.
Timothy Omundson (Galavant) will play Edward Von Glimpse, Vivian’s longtime, gay best friend. Edward’s her confidant, hype man, and apologist — sometimes all within the span of a single sentence. He’s droll with a dry wit and seen-it-all attitude, a throwback to a more civilized, elegant time.

Jalen Rose will play a fictionalized version of himself. Former NBA player and current ESPN personality Rose must juggle his career responsibilities with the challenges of being a single dad.
Anna Maria Horsford (The Bold and the Beautiful) will play Jalen’s mother, Moms.
Marla Gibbs (227) portrays his grandmother, Grammie. Smart and meddlesome, Moms and Grammie keep close tabs on Jalen’s life and weigh in regularly, critiquing his ESPN shows and his personal life.
Kelly Jenrette (Grandfathered) will play Denise, Jalen’s ex, and the mother of their two girls, Samantha and Natalie, who live with her mostly, though they visit their dad regularly. Denise has her own jewelry business and is also starting to date again.
Laysla de Oliveira (Gothica) is Angela, Jalen’s girlfriend, who works for a fashion magazine. Angela’s a big part of Jalen’s life, and has a good relationship with his young daughters, and even his ex.
Jessica McKenna (Party Over Here) plays Becky, Jalen’s assistant at ESPN. Becky has a good relationship with Jalen that spans the professional to the personal: she keeps him up to speed on his ESPN duties but also reminds him of his daughter’s soccer games.
Rich Sommer (Mad Men) portrays Jacoby. A little neurotic, smart, and quick-witted, he co-hosts a successful ESPN show about sports and pop culture with Jalen.

Felicity Huffman (American Crime) will play Libby — a strong, brilliant, White Republican who won his heart by knocking him off his feet. Now they’ll forge a new life together at home against all odds while going head-to-head at work on their fiery new political talk show.
Caitlin McGee (Shades of Blue) will play Zev, a brazen producer on Libby and Malcolm’s show.
Monique Green (Fresh off the Boat) will play Malcolm’s teen daughter Naya.
Sayeed Shahidi (Uncle Buck) will play 11-year-old Cassius, Malcolm’s son and a future politician for sure.
Jahi Winston (Feed the Beast) plays MJ, Malcolm’s youngest child.

LOGLINE: Three misfit adult siblings and their parents who — between divorce, new parenthood, early-onset dementia and let’s just say life — are all losing it in different ways. And family is the only way they’re going to find it.
Cast (thus far)
Jon Cryer (Two and a Half Men) will play one of the adult siblings, Andy, a successful acupuncturist who turned to Eastern philosophy as a way to cope with his crazy family. While he’s close with his mother, his relationship with his father is complicated, especially since Andy finds himself having to take care of the dad who never really took care of him. A bit of a control freak, Andy believes he can fix anything – except for maybe his marriage that has been in trouble ever since he caught his wife with another man.
Natalie Morales (The Grinder) will play one of the siblings, Charlie, the adopted sister who is a baker.
Sam Huntington (Being Human) will play Owen, the handsome, charming and single younger brother, a successful birthday party magician without a care in the world.

Cast (thus far)
Oliver Hudson (Nashville) will play Martin, who adjusts to his suddenly divorced life with hopeful optimism, but as a newly single parent, he can’t help but wonder — during unfamiliar moments of freedom — what went wrong in his marriage.
Jenna Fischer (The Office) will play always-prepared Lena, who is struggling to navigate a new life after her divorce from ex-husband Martin, whose laid-back approach to raising their three children appalls her.
Diane Farr (Numb3rs) will play Maya, the wry single sister of Lena who pushes her to embrace her new singlehood in a plainspoken way that only a loving, older sister can.
