Well, I feel like comparing might be a bit unfair because comics aren’t Pinkypill’s strongest skill as an artist.

PP does best at completed, stand-alone illustrations. Like these? These are well done and well executed. The poses are cool, the lighting is interesting, and it overall looks great!

Comics are a whole other ocean to navigate. You have to cram a lot of information into panels while making it look good, and its easy to mess up if you’re not constantly alert for mistakes.

While she has gotten better at paneling and speech bubbles, the poses/mood/expressions feel very stiff. The characters almost feel like mannequins compared to her illustrations. 

PP’s strongest point in my opinion is completed illustrations. I feel like she’d do excellent at designs for book covers/shirts/merch etc, but not so much comics. I’m crossing my fingers and praying that there’s any part of the graphic novel that’s make me giddy with how perfect it’ll feel, but until then, these are my thoughts.
