Hello, my name is Kai and I am a Hellenic polytheist! This blog is my attempt at diving deeper in my religion as I've struggled in the past to stay consistent and devoted, and I would truly like to change that.

While I would mainly consider myself an Aphrodite devotee, I honor several gods including (but not limited to) Ares, Dionysus, Hestia, and Hermes!! While I most regularly worship Lady Aphrodite I try my best to incorporate the others in my faith.

I pride myself in being a gay trans man. My identity is a huge part of me.

If I think too hard about ancient Greece I'll cry because what do you mean I'll never get to worship at my gods' temples in their full glory? Imagine how close they must have felt. The wind through the temple halls must have felt like their breath. Standing in those temples must have felt like standing before that god themself. Giving them tiny offerings as they tower over you. Approving.

My chest feels tight with the knowing that I'll never be able to bow with my face to the cold floor in those sacred spaces.
