Life Complications (Rant)

Today I cut myself and because of this my boyfriend of almost 3 years has broken up with me. He said that I can earn our relation back by being open with him and letting him on my feeling and thoughts completely. He said that we wouldn’t be letting the outside world know about our “breakup” to save us the stress of the explanations. So, after a ton of tears I agreed to his terms and decided that I will earn back our relationship. Later we had sex even though I normally don’t like having sex with someone that I am not in a relationship with. I refused to the last time we “separated.” Anyway, this time I decided that I just wouldn’t think about it and gave into my urges. Later we went out to dinner with a mutual friend of ours and we were all having a decent time. We told her what was going on because she was close to both of us. Things continued to be okay until the very end when our friend told us that she had sex with her ex last night. My “ex” told her that now that he and I aren’t in a relationship he can take of that stuff for her. This immediately turned my mood sour and I was happy that we had finished dinner and were leaving because I would have not been able to sit there much longer. Because I am still trying to keep to our agreement, I told him how all of that made me feel and I even asked him how he would feel if I said something like to another mutual friend of ours that is a guy. He told me he would be fine with it because we aren’t together. I am so upset that he doesn’t seem to care. I may be being a bit overemotional with this, but I feel that I would completely give up trying if he were to have sex with our friend especially given the situation. I talked to our friend about this whole situation and she said that she doesn’t think she would take up his offer anyway. That gave me some relief, albeit not much. I am still skeptical. I just know one thing. If those two end up having sex while I am trying to earn my relationship back I would likely disown both of them as my friends and would try to move back to my home state.
