This week in 'Burger'

This phing wins the award of making us peckish (read: supremely ravenous) every time we load up the app. Ah, Burger. Not just a simple meat patty in between two buns, oh no. Did you know that burgers (well, Big Macs) allow you to measure the purchasing power of countries around the world? True story. Let's all pay some respect to the glorious burger.

Waiting for Review

We're still busy shitting sitting waiting for Apple to review our little app. While we've got our feet up in our business hammocks we've been busy working on some new features, including the much hassled suggested ability to play against friends and foes in upcoming games. So depending on the Apple xmas rush, we may in fact have a new version to submit before wrapping paper sees the light of day. That said, these hammocks are just asking to be snoozed in.

Some interesting 'Meat' observations this week from our beta testers. We can't wait to see what the greater world has in mind for some of these challenges.

One year on and it's on!

A couple more clicks, a new logo and we'll be knee-deep in the iTunes store with a coupla dozen other apps. And it only took 360 odd days, a couple of iPhones, thousands of dollars worth of Moritz booze and a couple of HBs.

Closer to taking your seats ladies and gentlemen

We're close to pulling back the polyester curtains to a folly we've been toying with for the last few months, we couldn't be more excited to share it with the world. Phingo has been in private beta for the last month, with a week or so to go until we're confident we've ironed out the bugs. Ok, maybe more upbeat than confident ... Four weeks we'll be confident but I want some people to get their mittens on this today!

So, what is Phingo? For those whom we haven't been badgering at your own birthday parties, music festivals and bar mitzvahs ... It's the real life phone bingo game, instead of the classic blue rinses, moth balls and bingo-hall ink over your corduroys, it's you, your phones camera and a weekly list of 'phings' to find around your neck of the woods. You play against everyone, everywhere ... be the first to mark off the 'phings' on your game card, take a photo, and unlock the prizes.

Play nice, play well and you could win the meat raffle!!

We can't wait to see the planets interpretation of "Duck" or perhaps something a bit more conceptual, like "Age" or simply "Homer".

We're super-excited to get your opinion on the finished app. In the meantime, we're keen to get 20 or so more into our private beta, let us know.
