Posted @withrepost • @hypeteamto The #hypeteamto goes behind the scenes to bring you all the #fire from @rohanlaylorphoto along with @madistylesdesign, @tassjacadoch and @candacewilsonart photoshoot for #mentalhealthawareness. With #BellLetsTalk day coming up and the focus on #mentalhealth, we decided to combine forces and unite to do a #fashionshoot that would shed light on 2 activists that are using their talents to change the stigma regarding mental health. OUR MODEL- @tassjacadoch aka @nosuchnormal is an accomplished print model and television actor from Toronto. Her time in the Entertainment Industry has brought her many challenges that forced her to leave show business to “focus on developing herself in a spiritual capacity and shy away from the superficial”. • • THE ART- The #abstractpaintings featured as the backgrounds in this fashion shoot are those of @candacewilsonart. Candace is an abstract artist that creates “healing paintings” by combining crystals, metal and other elements in the emulsion of the paint she uses. Candace’s style uses certain colours in combination with these elements to create masterpieces that vibrate a healing energy that nurtures one’s mind, body and soul health. Both of these warriors have had to overcome deep, dark and difficult #mentalchallenges- and struggle with them to this day. So it’s great that we could bring both of them together and introduce them to you so we can do our part to help break the silence around #mentalillness and support mental health all across Canada.
