Atop a spire of a mountain, piercing the clouds, sits a temple dedicated to the Wind God, and to her ancient chosen one, a bird-woman named Nariko. Long since passed on, Nariko's descendants continue to live at the temple, and each day spend some time praying in one of the temple's most sacred spaces: The Meditation Room.

A location from the backstory of one of my ongoing D&D characters, Ninlil. She is one such descendant of Nariko, though she left the temple in order to better understand the world, and thus better understand the traditions of her family. We had a session where we visited the temple, and had a chance to explore not only Ninlil's complicated relationship with her family, but also the many rooms of the temple. One such room, described in vivid detail, was The Meditation Room, and I was so enchanted by its description that I knew I had to draw it. Needless to say, that was a very special session for me.⭐

Hey!! Been a super long time since I've posted, but I never stopped drawing! Got super into D&D over the pandemic, so here's a very incomplete collection of some of the characters I've played! We got a pink half-dragon (homebrew race) child bard, a gross bog witch (this was for the Worlds Without Number system!), a fey warlock sheep-person (another homebrew race lol), an amethyst dragonborn psionic ranger (homebrew subclass), a tortle grandma monk, a satyr trickster princess, AND a gijinka of the Pokemon Minior which I played for a Pokemon Mystery Dungeon-themed game! I uhhh like homebrew LOL It's nice to be back! I have lots more to post, so keep an eye out!

sooooo after some deeply appreciated help with deliberating, i feel like i’ve settled on this as PeriHelion’s standard wand design! (although knowing me there’s a good chance i’ll change it eventually)

i still want to play around with some of those other ideas i had when i go to design skins for her! i didn’t want to use something too visually busy for her standard skin though.

various concepts for PeriHelion’s wand. I’m happy with the top but I can’t decide what to do with the bottom!

the idea with her wand is it refracts and amplifies sunlight in order to weaponize it. 100% solar-powered. this is the weapon for an overwatch oc, so while I’m giving it a little bit of a fantasy feel, I’m trying to keep it real sci-fi ~
