Have it ever crossed your mind that maybe Sebastian and Anne would be like the Pines twins Dipper and Mabel if things were different?

but you’re so right!! we know so little of who anne was before the curse but imagining she’s a little chaos gremlin with mable energy gives me LIFE. imagine her glitterising all of sebastian’s things omg

sebastian and dipper are kinda similar in some ways too. nerds, read a lot, and as evidenced by the GF zombie episode will sometimes get blinded by their need for answers that it puts people in danger.

1. If Athena was an Animagus, it would be a black mare shire horse. Her free spirit and her incredible inner strength.

2. Yellow is Athena's favorite color, why is because of the honking daffodils. She just finds them extremely adorable.

3. In a Modern AU, she would go with twitch streaming. The love of socializing and interacting with so many different and unique people.

4. For her wand it is basically based off of my own Pottermore wand. Dragonheartsring being a good wand core for dueling.

5. Athena eats about anything, but she wouldn't turn down a nice salad with spinach.

6. Her backstory, she comes from a family of horse breeders in Ireland. But her mother was a dueling champion that retired and her father is an Auror of the UK ministry of magic.

7. Athena is in Slytherin for her ambition.

8. Athena is a halfblood like her father. She doesn't suffer any taunting in Hogwarts thanks to Sebastian's and Ominis' presence. Natty and Poppy being more open minded. Garreth simply not caring. Leander being more understanding. At home, her mother's side of the family thinking of Athena as a mistake, a glaring stain in the Lucritcia family bloodline. (Lucritcia is her mother's surname before marriage with her father.)

9. Athena did open the repository, believing that the magic can still be used for good in the right hands.

10. Athena didn't trust the Keepers. Believed that they were keeping more information from her and not telling the full story.

11. Athena learned the unforgivable curses. To her there's no such thing as "good" or "bad" magic.

12. Athena didn't turn in Sebastian. Why, because she loves him (not romantic, strictly familial love.) And sending him to Azkaban is a death sentence.

13. Athena has a wonderful relationship with her parents. Her mother taught her all her dueling skills and her father takes her on trips like visiting France. She doesn't have any siblings because of her mother's condition of only able to bare one child. So she's grown a sibling love towards Sebastian.

14. Athena's love interest is Garreth Weasley. His daring can-do attitude is what caught her interest at first. And his attitude to not give up even after failing makes him very endearing towards her. Plus they share a love for trouble and potions.

15. Her favorite spell is Accio. Can be used on objects and people, mostly their clothes.

16. MC should have pressured the Keepers more, expose more of their dirty secrets.

17. Her pet is the Irondale Piffler and Caligo. Both rescues. Piffler was saved when he was busy robbing shop stands in Irondale, so she takes him in. He is helpful getting ingredients from Sharp's cupboards. Caligo, poachers wanting to sell him for his unique looks, Athena saved him.

18. Her red hair was down before her adventure, but now she keeps it up in a braided ponytail.

19. Athena is from Dublin Ireland. So were her family except her father who is from Scotland.

20. Autumn, she loves the different color of leaves.

21. Halloween. It's a celtic ancient holiday that her family celebrates given that their ancestors invented it to ward off Muggles on each Hallows Eve night. (Was Athena's family the ones who invented Halloween? Yes, yes they were.)

22. Athena's favorite toy is a large plush dragon that she named Matches. She keeps it safe in her Room of Requirements.

23. She likes all kinds of music, anything that moves the soul, the spirit, she will dance along with it.

24. What I like about Athena is how courageous and ambitious she is. Standing for what she believes is right and taking chances when others won't, using her cunning skills to achieve her dreams but not forgetting the ones who helped her along the way.

History: Athena was born in Ireland in a noble household, her mother a pure blood witch and her father a half-blood wizard. Her mother was in Slytherin while her father was a Ravenclaw as well as her grandfather on her mother's side when he attended Hogwarts. Her parent's didn't believe in 'purity' in the bloodline of the family tree and that family was something that should be honored and know where your loyalty lies. Athena's mother even taught her that magic is a resourceful tool and that there is no such thing as dark or good magic, just like a sword is a tool. The one who wields it should be judged by their actions, not the magic they use. Her father taught her that in a duel, one must remain honorable but in an actual fight where her life is on the line then by means use any strategy, any tactic or skill to win because your enemy will not care about honor.

She's protective and loyal to her friends and family and would sacrifice herself for their safety.

I just want to do a rant drop post about my second favorite Gryffindor 🦁 Leander Prewett.

Leander does not deserve how he is treated by the fandom!!!

I really do not understand why so many fans treat him terribly or always- ALWAYS place him as the bully or villian in their fanfics. Or the classic him and Sebastian hate each other not realizing that those two do not. Before running into the DADA classroom you can clearly see Leander, Ominis, and Sebastian having a civil conversation amongst each other.

If you hate someone you won't be chatting or hanging out with them.

Now I wish I knew the source of the hatred towards Leander. Is it because he accused Sebastian of cheating? When clearly the dragon head incident was an accident and Sebastian was at fault for casting Bombarda in a classroom. And remember my fellow Slytherins, we use any means necessary to achieve our goal. So Leander is right about the "dirty tricks" comment. Plus if MC is a Slytherin he quickly apologizes and feels guilty for making that comment.

The summoners court- it's a game, a simple game and no reason to get upset at a NPC trying to teach you this mini game. To be honest, I am terrible at it, dueling being my forte. So I was happy to be losing against Leander giving me chances to practice when you cannot practice the mini game whenever you want. And when you beat him, he isn't salty or angry despite others thinking so..he feels ashamed that someone beat him at something that he was at least good at. Being part of a large family and having to live under his older brothers shadows, Leander struggles to find one thing, ONE thing that he can be proud of being good or great at. Imelda has talent in flying, Natty is skilled with charms, Sebastian is a champion duelist and Hecat's top student. Leander just wants to be proud of something he can do. Like we all did back when going to school and figuring out what we are good at.

So instead of treating this sweet Gryffindor like hippogriff dung, give him a chance, try to understand him and you will see that he is actually a good person who is just trying to find his place in the Wizarding world full of harsh expectations.
