After a massive fire in San Myshuno destroyed multiple businesses and left many families without their livelihoods, he not only lost the restaurant but also his parents, who were there when it happened. Despite the hardships, Brian focuses on rebuilding the business and taking care of his younger sister, Charlie.

Charlie has always found comfort in her brother after losing their parents. She was too young to fully understand it at the time, but now she knows she’s not alone—she has someone who loves and protects her like a father. Besides Brian, she’s got her close friends and is an active member of the school newspaper, serving as a voice for students and offering help whenever needed.

To Charlie, Brian’s life seems boring — he’s always stuck at the restaurant, with no real social life or many friends. Brian, on the other hand, sees her as reckless and lacking direction. A book lover and fanfiction enthusiast, Charlie has made it her personal mission to find her brother a love interest—even though he has no idea. Before she even heads off to college, she’s determined to make it happen. But will she actually succeed?

When it comes to social life, Charlie is the total opposite of her brother. Outgoing and full of energy, she wants to make the most of her teenage years. While Brian only cares about making the restaurant successful—without putting himself in the spotlight—Charlie dreams of becoming a pastry star and traveling the world.
