"Penny...meet Tadashi,"

"This is Tadashi Hamada and this is the first test of my robotics project,"

Penny stared at the screen on Baymax's chest, watching Tadashi speak and go through his countless tests.

Hiro stood next to her, a hand on her shoulder as he blinked his tears away.

Penny's hand raised up to cover Hiro's, a comforting gesture as if she could see his watery eyes from her position in front of him.

Penny smiled as the video ended. "Tadashi was a wonderful person,"

"Yeah, he was,"

Suddenly, Hiro found himself engulfed in a hug. Penny's arms locking around his torso as her head leaned into his chest. "I'm sorry you lost him,"

Not replying, still too stunned by the hug, Hiro slowly wrapped his arms around her and together they shared a hug, a silent, comfortable moment between them.

"Hey," Penny said, pulling back from the hug, her arms hanging loosly on his waist. "I'm not giving up on you."

Hiro grinned, pulling her into a hug again and resting his chin on the top of her head. "Yeah, well, me either,"

"I can't lose you too," he muttered under his breath, hoping she wouldn't catch it.

"In the mood for some pizza?" She asked, lightening the mood.

"Always up for some greasy Pizza Planet food," Hiro replied.

Penny smiled, taking his hand and pulling him out of the garage.

Hiro took one last glance back at Baymax's chest, the video still paused on his brother's face. A small ache entered his chest, but as quickly as it came, it left. Being replaced by the warm feeling in his chest when Penny laughed.

Yeah, Tadashi was gone, but he was still in Hiro's heart. He felt him when he hung out with the nerd gang and when he shared moments with Penny.

He could almost hear Tadashi's voice yelling as Penny pulled him away. "Have fun you two! But not too much fun! I'll find out!"

The thought put a grin on Hiro's face that resided with him the rest of the night.

Nobody could replace Tadashi and nothing would fill the void, but when he was with the people that made him happy, that void didn't seem so big anymore.
