New smooth polished stones
These are quite large (about palm size) and are actually intended to be used as massage (gua sha) stones. They have gently rounded points, beveled edges and super smooth polished surfaces, which can accommodate a whole lot of different stimming moods. They’re really nice to just rub your fingers over but can also be used for broad or focused pressure/rubbing/scraping on your skin.

A couple of new bags :)
These are very lightweight and smaller than most of the other bags but they will still hold 3-5 items (more if they are smaller items) easily.
Photo descriptions:
Top photo: A small dark blue rectangular zipper bag with a cartoon dog face on the front. The dog has white dots for eyes, a white muzzle area and a black nose and smiling line-drawn mouth.
Bottom photo: A small grey rectangular zipper bag with a cartoon bear face on the front. The bear has black dots for eyes, a white muzzle area and a black nose and straight horizontal line for a mouth.

As much as I love all of our slow rising squishies, this duck really takes it to another level.
It’s sooooo light and airy and the surface is just amazingly smooth and silky.  It’s also big - like nearly softball or grapefruit size (from end to end and bottom of body to top of head).
Quite possibly the perfect slow rising squishy IMHO.

I don't know how allistics know that someone is Different, but they Know, and they'll make fun of it.
I’m gonna ask you to listen for a bit.
think of a boy who is kinda weird, sticks to himself, doesn’t talk much; you know the type. a standard autistic kid. how is he normally treated by her peers at school? with mocking, bullying, and ostracism. the allistics know not why they systematically hurt him, but they do know something about him is Wrong. they want to put him in his place because he’s socially unacceptable. the traits he displays unsettles them for reasons unknown.
think in the present now, to an office worker. she gets the job done, but she’s still kind of weird. her coworkers make jokes behind her back, and treat her with an air of condescension. they don’t know why they do this, just like the schoolyard bullies, but they feel a strong aversion to her. maybe it’s that she decorates her desk with dozens and dozens of pokemon figurines, or that sometimes she can be seen flapping her hands like a bird, but they just know it’s somehow Wrong. they, too, want to put her in her place for the crime of this wrongness.
these coworkers will go on to have children, probably a lot of them. these kids will observe their parents making fun of that weird guy who doesn’t speak much and doesn’t make eye contact, or the 35 year old woman who walks around in a pikachu costume, and these kids will start incorporating that into their own behavior. they’ll start mocking the girl who carries my little pony merch everywhere, or the other girl who cries when she feels the texture of her backpack. nobody will stop them, because the victims of abuse are deemed Wrong, and all they need is a little bullying to make them Right. the worst thing you can do is act differently than everyone else, after all.
and then those kids will have children, who will learn to be ableist, and then their children will have children, who will also become ableist, and so forth.
hatred of autistic people starts very early, and it’s in the very core of our society. mocking us is a national pastime: a comedian making a bit about a woman he dated who decorated her house entirely with pictures and knick-knacks of horses, or your boss making fun of your strange reclusive coworker who rarely speaks, or a teacher laughing about a kid at school who screamed and bit her arm after eating mashed potatoes. it’s funny to make fun of the freaks in our lives.
ableism is so ingrained because it’s socially acceptable to pick on the weird kid, to keep a safe distance from anyone with weird vibes, acting like a contagion, going from parent to child, and infecting everyone around them. abuse of autistics starts with shunning our traits. it starts with harassing students at school for their peculiar behavior. the poison is fed to people early, festering into a putrid mess of fear; fear that fuels the social divide allistics erect between Us and Them. dismantling ableism starts with dismantling the idea that it’s bad to be weird.

Fuzzy Necklaces
These are handmade by Alex and they are resin base with a fuzzy layer on the front side that is nice for some light rubbing/texture stimming.

Note
I just got my silicone brush in the mail today, and wanted to say it's amazing! I have a stim I tend to fall back on of rubbing things against my face or lips, but the issue with it is that usually that urge happens with things that really shouldn't be going near my mouth - the brush, on the other hand, works PERFECTLY
Yay for happy safe stimming!

I got myself a crate of Pizza Nadas! I've been craving them for a few years now. The lady there said that they get a lot of autistic people coming in and buying them. Maybe that explains why I've loved them so much and remembered their taste for years.

Squish plush animals
These are 3 inches across, so small enough to fit in a good sized coat pocket. They are super soft plush on the outside and moderately slow rising foam (similar density to memory mattress foam) on the inside. The feet/ears/wings are thin plush (soft texture, not rough like felt).
Photo description: Four photos of ball shaped plushies in the form of cartoonish animals. In order from top left they are: (1) a green and yellow tree frog with long orange legs, stitched on black eyes and mouth, and red footprint shaped marks on the upper belly area; (2) a yellow llama or alpaca with a white mask area around the black stitched eyes and mouth, red cheek circles and sewn on white feet and ears; (3) black and yellow toucan with a rainbow striped beak, black stitched eyes, red cheek highlights and blue feet; (4) brown sloth with white face area, stitched on black facial features and brown feet.
