How many Mondays till new Broadchurch I wonder....

If this was broadchurch Monday I'd be getting ready to sit down and watch it but I have nothing to look forward to it used to get me through the week especially Monday's it sounds silly but how do I move on ugh

There’s always rewatching it.  Or going through the Broadchurch tag.  Or finding something else to do.  Watch a David Tennant show or movie you haven’t seen before.  Take a nap.  Learn a new language.  Count the hairs in Hardy’s scruff.  

The possibilities are endless.

Basically, had Hardy and Miller just been pals, this is how their good bye scene would’ve been:

E: So where are you going now?

H: I need to be near my daughter.

E: Yeah, that’s great! That will be so wonderful for the both of you.

H: Yeah, I’m really looking forward to it. Look at me smiling and being so happy that I finally solved the case. Wow WHAT A GREAT DAY I FINALLY SOLVED IT. Like, had I looked miserable right now, that sure would've looked as though I was saying goodbye to the woman I love and I'm not so... YAy happy day.

E: Yeah, totally. And I’m the warm, caring Ellie who brought gifts for all my coworkers when I was in Florida and who made sure that guy who quit got a fun night out with his colleagues. I have no problem having nice work relationships. So, I’m definitely not on the verge of crying, no I’m actually asking: wanna keep in touch? Throw each other the occasional email maybe? Facebook friends. Do you have facebook? Because this is actually something I would ask my other coworkers. The only reason for not doing so would be if I were secretly falling in love with you. Which I’m not. Nope. Definitely not.

H: Yeah, me neither. You’re not even my type. I never go for brunettes. Have you seen my ex wife? She's super blond.

E: Awesome! Anyway, nice working with you and stuff. You taught me a lot. And sometimes you were a fucking ass. That needed to be said. C’mere, let’s hug.

H: I'm not much of a hugger, tbh.

E: Aaaw, c’mon. A little hug won’t kill ya! At least not anymore.

H: No. Why do people do that? Is it to create some false sense of intimacy? Pretend we're better friends than we are? I'm not hugging you. We just solved a couple of cases together.

E: Wow, I sure wish I had someone I could exchange a glance with now to show how ridiculous I find Hardy. Ha ha ha. Anyway... So I’m leaving. You should totally come down this summer. Bring Daisy! She’ll like Broadchurch in the summer. Come on. Live a little, you miserable grump.

H: No I hate the sand and the beach and the neverending sky and ducks and clouds and the fact that you're walking out of my life. No. Scratch that last part.

E: Okeli dokeli. Will do. Bye! Talk to you later.
