You’ve kinda always just got me. Even though we didn’t really talk in the first rp we were in together I’m really glad you followed me when we made another. I’m honestly the luckiest person. When we decided to be ship partners I would’ve never guessed how close we would become. None of my other ship partners had ever befriended me like that and I’m so glad you did.

I’m thankful for our seven hour facetime calls, and even our thirty minute facetime calls. I’m thankful that you’ve decided to let me be a part of your life. You’re one of the most beautiful and honest people I’ve ever met. It’s hard to imagine my life without you at this point. I don’t know what I would do honestly, but I know I’d be extremely unhappy. I’m thankful that I always have you to talk to. I’m thankful that you never tell me to shut up, (unless it’s deserved/playful) or tell me to go away, but most of all I’m thankful you haven’t left me.

Even though Chryan is dead (RIP) you still want to be my friend and honestly that’s the only time something like that has happened. No one has ever continued to talk to me, the same way, even after our ship has sunk. It always get awkward and we never know what to talk about, but with us it’s different. Because you’re more than just a ship partner on a roleplay, or just an internet friend that I talk to occasionally. You are my best friend.

I can’t believe you’re seventeen today. In one year you’re going to be an adult. In one year you’re almost going to be graduating high school and starting college. I can only hope we will continue to be friends for that long. I know you are going to do something productive and beautiful with your life and I wouldn’t be anything less than honored to be a part of that. I know we haven’t talked too much in the past couple of days, but I’ve been so exhausted (and had work and class -- you know how those days are). I wish I could be there celebrating with you, but unfortunately I’m stuck here in Rhode Island. ☹☹

It’s okay though, because one day we’ll celebrate your birthday together. Maybe I’ll even take you for drinks when you turn 21 😉😉

I love you so so so much and even though I said it before, I’ll say it a thousand times; I don’t know what I would do with out you, Taryn.
