Tldr; I'm making a Patreon comeback (sort of)! Billing resumes on Saturday, December 21. After that, new members will be able to join the page again.

Moving forward, there will be some changes. I won't post weekly updates anymore (instead I'll try monthly updates or post whenever I have something to share). I will also draw less Ace Attorney content. I will still draw fanart, I just don't see myself as primarily an Ace Attorney fanartist anymore.

I don't have a clear vision of what I want my next comic project to be, but maybe sharing my ups and downs with finding a new creative project to tackle will resonate with some of you (or at least future me looking back on this). I want to focus more on original characters and stories, so that's something to look forward to!

Thank you for all your support, it means the world to me, especially now that I'm not quite sure who I am as an artist (and as a person, really) <3

Your Wings comic was amazing to read alongside the development of Phoenix Wright and Miles Edgeworth's bond. I just have one question; is there any way I could join your Patreon as a member and view the rest of your Ace Attorney drawings? For some reason Patreon wouldn't let me sign in, is there anything I can do to be worthy of becoming a member or is it truly off limits for new incomers? Just curious.

I’m still uncertain what I’m going to do with Patreon now that the comic is finished, so I can’t say for sure when you’ll be able to become a member again. You should still be able to ”join for free” (follow the page), so when/if I do decide to come back to Patreon, you should get a notification when I make a post about it ^^ glad you’re interested to join the Patreon even after the comic has ended 💕

I'm posting to letting you know that I'm still alive and well and didn't, in fact, quit zumba after two classes. Still haven't touched my drawing tablet, though.

Instead of impulse buying a new calendar and ten accessories for it, I called my sister and impulse bought a gym membership (I've never had one before). If I can manage attending a group class once a week, I can achieve literally anything in life. Writing a book or drawing another comic will be NOTHING compared to going to a group exercise class...

Part 22 - Finale

I can't believe this project is actually finished. I started sketching the first pages in January of 2021 (if my Instagram stories are to believe) and now I'm done? What am I even supposed to do now that I'm not drawing WINGS anymore?

It's not a perfect comic. It wasn't really meant to be a finished comic either, I was kind of messing around to see if I actually liked making longer comics. Turns out I do! I've always viewed this project as "practice", so the style is all over the place and at times, the art is really hard to look at (*cough* entire part 7 *cough*). But I finished it, all 206 pages of it! I never knew I had this much persistence in me :D

Things I wish I'd known before starting the comic: 1) Having a script will save you from many plot holes and plot threads that never lead anywhere (and it also gives you opportunities to do fun foreshadowing <- this is something I couldn't do for a Thing I came up with and had to drop because I'd already posted the first updates before writing the script). 2) Drawing in batches actually saves time, people aren't joking when they say that. It always takes time to get used to inking after sketching, or coloring after inking, etc. And when I say batches, I don't mean ten pages at a time, I mean like 40-50 pages at a time. I wish I'd realized this before the last 40 pages of this comic...

Thank you so, so much for each and every one of you who have been on this journey with me. It really has meant the world to me to have people I could share this story with. I hope you enjoyed it as much as I enjoyed making it <3

I love these, that last one is KILLING me 😂 I really like Franziska with her white wings, they make her look like an angel (which is funny because of her whip and all)

So I've recently taken an interest to @peathepirate 's Wings!AU and decided to make some doodles/headcanons of my own :)

I completely rawdogged the wing designs so don't come at me 🫡

First of all Franmaya 🫶

I feel like Franziska would hide her wings during the growing period but eventually learns to love them (and uses them to add a lil flare to her objections). Don't think she confronted Maya until after BTTT but Maya is smart enough to put two and two together.

Now some Miego

I feel like Diego would have giant ass wings cuz it just feels right. I'd do a Godot design too but my wrist hurts 😔

Then bonus Narumitsu doodle I'm never gonna finish (Nick isn't stupid enough to do this but it was funny)

Anyway bless this AU I love it so much it's like a gift sent from heaven cuz it's my current fixation together with my special interest (birds)

What do you guys do when you feel like you're failing at life if you're not creating something worthwhile?

I can't draw/write anything, because it feels like my life literally depends on what I choose to create next. Which leads to me not drawing/writing anything, so that there's not even a small chance of me picking the "wrong" project to work on. I need another solution to this problem than avoidance xp

No, not really, at least I can’t think of anything 😅 everyone interprets the story/au differently and have their own headcanons which I’m okay with. I’m just happy people like the comic enough to create stuff inspired by it 😁💕

I legit get giggly(I don’t know if that’s a word) when I read anything narumistu especially late at night and for me it’s like 3:00 am and I am definitely getting giggly from your amazing comic.
