Hey gang, this is thankfully not a “im burnt out, no more Promiseclan” post. Buuut burnout is a thing and I’ve been working on restructuring panel styles and some story beats planned for the next few moons so we can finally pick things up and not be stuck on each moon for 9,000 years.

The ending of this little moon 1 sequence is probably going to be abrupt just so we can move things along finally. But it will be incorporated into the lore. Thank you for your patience and understanding!! 🖤

Wip but I am enjoying my anatomy glow up!

Old on the right, new on the left.

I did a bunch of studies of lions in particular, and I think I have finally clicked how to draw the chest/neck/shoulder correctly. This also makes their necks look more proportionate (sabercats do have longer necks than lions but they shouldn't look as giraffe adjacent as the old sketches smh).

Note that these are just intended to be the everyman Fleet/Ice Fang (or everywoman technically). I also shaved them to show the proportions better, but they aren't going to lose their fluff in comic c:

The initials panels may not be done but I wanted to experiment with doing a “title panel” of sorts with each section of a moon to serve as a buffer between sections.

In this case, “Great Expectations” takes place roughly a week after the events of “To Dream”
