I’ve seen people critiquing Ashton and fearne’s character for a while. They try to “explain all the reasons” why they won’t move past fuck buddies or just won’t get together at all. The majority of the reasoning seems to stem from Ashton’s withdrawn nature and his traumatic past; along with fearne’s fey background and desire to claim things as her own.

I have said it before and I will say it again, obviously everyone is entitled to their own opinions but I think scrutinizing the characters based on their backstories is then the same as condemning them to said backstories and not allowing any room for character growth. It’s unfair to the characters and the creator behind them. They all have at minimum two dungeons and dragons campaigns under their belt with proof they know what they are doing with improv and plot. No character is stone, everyone is a liquid.

Oh my god I hope someone asked Ashley what fearne would have said to the caster that bullied Ashton.

Ashton really fell into the hole. Everyone else called for fearne but ashton looked for her. Searched and fell. They fell into the hole. And they said nice things and did nice things. We are blessed because there is clearly something on ash’s side of feelings.

I like how Ashton looks like they just shut off, imagining all the ways to get dusk for tricking fearne. I think that’s very sexy of him.

Also the delicious potential of Ashton expressing verbal feeling for fearne. Someone asks them “why are you so mad?” Or reassuring them that she’ll come back. To which Ashton says that they don’t understand. Or pushes through everything and we get a quiet little moment of Ashton rping by themself, sharing their feelings with the audience. Ahhh I hope.

mmm the fearne and ashton crumbs tonight were delicious. I know I may be looking through rose tinted shipping glasses but of everyone at the table, Ashton was the only one who came across as PISSED. Everyone else was shocked (or ready to fight in orym’s and chet’s case). Oh but ashton... Ashton is about to rage. As dusk grabbed them, it looked like he wanted to intervene . I honestly think there is great potential for high quality callowmoore content in the next few episodes because of this. And I wait for my meals with respect but i WAIT.
