Some of my desert flower photos from past springs. Most were taken at the desert botanic gardens in Phoenix and Tucson Arizona, as well as the desert museum just outside of Tucson.

The spring flowers in bloom in the desert are really beautiful.. it’s my favorite time of year in Arizona.

All the vivid colors with the greens and browns of the desert backdrop make for a spectacular sight.

The Mexican poppies will cover the desert floor for miles... its breathtaking to see this from a distance... because it just looks like a blanket of orange and yellow leading up to the browns of the mountain and cactus landscapes.

The hummingbirds and butterflies do a lot of the pollinating.. as well as the bees of course.

It’s such a small window where you can see the desert in full bloom.. it’s luck if you can actually get to Arizona in time to see it... but it’s unforgettable when you do.... 🌸🌼💐
