Covid-19 pandemic

Since President Rodrigo Roa Duterte placed the entire Luzon on lockdown or Enhance Community Quarantine to contain the explosion of CoViD-19 cases in the country. This means no people are not allowed to leave their homes unless for essential reasons or if you have a quarantine pass you are allow to get out of the house.

So that Meycauayan City Mayor Linabelle Villarica assigned every barangays to distribute one quarantine pass per family. It is divided into two when your Quarantine pass no. ends at even no. you can go out on teusday, Thursday and Saturday but if this is ends in odd no. you can go out Monday, Wednesday, and Friday, every Sunday no one is allowed outside the house because it is a day for sanitizing some establishments and roads in the city.

As of april 28, 2020 City of meycauayan confirmed the first recovered patient in the city, the total positive is 9, probable is 10, and 32 is suspected.

The LGU start repacking and distribution of relief bags for every baranggays in Meycauayan it is to meet the needs of the people. The Contact Tracing Team (CTT) appeared to be more aggressive in its focus on CONTACT TRACING, TESTING and ISOLATION to pursue time against the spread of deadly disease.
