I´m not considering working with light right now due to our limited context (Covid, short-timed due dates, etc), but I would love to (i.e. as in sculptures or an installation). Still, James Turrell has been in my mind for some time now -- since last semester. His work manages to create (and/or manipulate) a sense of wonder and awe and peace that very much interests me and creates dialogues with the kind of imagery and sensation I´m aiming for. In this interview, he talks about *the presence* of light and how he uses it to affect the medium of perception and orient the public´s perception while removing the idea of an object.  “Without image, without object, without a specific focus, what do you have left? ... The understanding of how you perceive”.
