people on TikTok don’t realize fic binding didn’t begin with idiots selling mass printed fanfiction on TikTok-Shop. They think it started as a negative thing ON TIKTOK😭it started on tumblr years ago as a way to appreciate authors!! It was never about selling fics, we’re AGAINST THAT HERE and always have been. a weird thing is that we got waves of people going "who cares if its cringe or youre annoying! have fun!" but no one really learned how to accept the fact that some people will find you annoying or think your art or your work or posts or anyrhing sucks and thats ok. rather it just became a weird "if people think youre annoying theyre just morally bad. let people enjoy things!". like no i think this yes man only biome sucks and people are allowed to not like artstyles and shows and media and other things
#This is true and I agree with it#There are certain ships that I do not like and nothing will get me to like them and there is no reason for it and that is fine#However#There is a difference between people finding something annoying and saying so and then moving on with their life#And finding something annoying and making it your life's mission to let everyone know that you find it annoying#For example I have a deep love of RWBY#There are a lot of people who think that RWBY is terrible#I would not mind this if it ended there#But outside of particular fandom bubbles it is almost impossible to mention liking RWBY#Without getting absolutely dog piled by people who act like RWBY killed their puppy or something#And I think it's not unreasonable to be frustrated about that#Because while there is nothing wrong with disliking something or finding it annoying#It is very rude to go up to someone talking about something they love and tell them that it's terrible/annoying#You don't have to like it#You can tell your friends how much you dislike it#You can post on your blog about how much you dislike it#But leave the people who actually do like it alone please#ok TED talk over lol

I'm pretty much exclusively a Philza viewer, so I'm pretty out of the loop when it comes to Realm stuff, but from what I'm aware of, there's new lore going on with the dragon egg shards, right?
Phil has two of the dragon egg shards. They're in his ender chest right now (if I remember correctly). This could be a big stumbling block, this could just get glossed over completely and forgotten about, or... this might be how we get a little bit more roleplay out of Phil. We've seen that, while he's generally extremely lore-averse, Phil is willing to roleplay if the situation calls for it (I'm mostly thinking about him giving Pangi Pilli's axe, but also the whole bit with the first elytra and keepers counts). This could be enough to at least somewhat drag him into the roleplay, if anyone ever finds out that he has the dragon egg shards.
Idk. Just something that's been in the back of my mind ever since Phil got the egg shards. I had a feeling they'd be lore relevant and now they clearly are
