I was watching yesterdays philza vod and when tr!phil lost his wings (o7) I got an idea :]

⚠️drawn burn/lightning scars below the cut

My idea is that while in game we saw Phil throw the wings on the ground where they were then struck by lightning, my roleplay idea was that the keepers of the realm just zapped them right off of his back after he said "fine. take them." (probably thinking he was going to get clipped)

The worst of the scarring is where the wings actually connected to his back, with lichtenberg scars shooting out from the burn sites.

I could go into detail about what the strike did to his back/wing joints and muscles but thats probably too explicit for tumblr lmao

Sometimes people will hate a parent-type character in a way that's so far from actual canon that you can tell it's not the character they really hate but Their Dad from Real Life. Which is fair but really annoying when you're trying to post about The Character

I've been thinking about rp!Phil's character arc lately, since Phil said they're all the same guy. So far, what we've got is:

-qsmp ends, Phil, Chayanne, and Lullah go to sleep at Rose's sanctuary, and Phil wakes up back in his hardcore world (with trouble remembering qsmp?)

-Phil spends a long time doing pretty much nothing but hardcore, even rejecting some invitations he received to join other SMPs

-Squidcraft, where Phil met up with his husband and a bunch of his friends, many of whom died before him (plus was just a generally traumatic experience all around)

-JoeSMP (dubiously canon), where the first thing Phil does is run off alone several thousand blocks away from everyone else

-The Realm, where Phil refuses to join a faction and moves out of the home he shares with Sneeg to do nothing but chop wood all alone

I know Phil has said that he doesn't have any lore planned for The Realm, but I can't help but be reminded of how on qsmp, after Phil got back from purgatory and reunited with his eggs, he told Chay and Lullah that if he hadn't gotten them back, he'd planned to isolate himself and become a hermit in chunk error valley. And look what's happened: Phil lost his kids (whether he fully remembers them or not), and now he's pretty consistently isolating himself (with the exception of Squidcraft, which honestly the trauma of that experience may have just served to reinforce his self isolation)
