The Internet, sometimes called simply "the Net," is a worldwide system of computer networks a network of networks in which users at any one computer can, if they have permission, get information from any other computer (and sometimes talk directly to users at other computers). It was conceived by the Advanced Research Projects Agency (ARPA) of the U.S. government in 1969 and was first known as the ARPANET. The original aim was to create a network that would allow users of a research computer at one university to "talk to" research computers at other universities. A side benefit of ARPANet's design was that, because messages could be routed or rerouted in more than one direction, the network could continue to function even if parts of it were destroyed in the event of a military attack or other disaster.

Today, the Internet is a public, cooperative and self-sustaining facility accessible to hundreds of millions of people worldwide. It is used by many as the primary source of information consumption, and fueled the creation and growth of its own social ecosystem through social media and content sharing. Furthermore, e-commerce, or online shopping, has become one of the largest uses of the Internet.

This bill updates the regulatory framework for broadband access. Specifically, the bill repeals a 2017 order adopted by the Federal Communications Commission (FCC) that classifies broadband internet access service as an information service, therefore placing it under Federal Trade Commission authority. The order also expands the public transparency rules and preempts local and state laws that conflict with the regulatory framework.

The bill restores a 2015 FCC order, which classifies both mobile and fixed broadband internet access services as telecommunications services, therefore placing the services under FCC authority. Additionally, the bill would create a general conduct standard and restore regulations, including those that prohibit blocking, throttling, and paid prioritization.

The bill establishes an exception for small businesses to certain transparency requirements relating to performance characteristics and network practices, and it directs the FCC to engage with tribal stakeholders regarding broadband access service challenges on tribal lands.

Among other reports, the bill requires the Government Accountability Office to report on

"SAVE THE INTERNET CAMPAIGN"

"Save the internet" campaign is basically for the preservation of net neutrality.

Net neutrality means when a service provider sells you data they don't get to choose how the data is used. The idea is that the Internet Service Provider, from whom you buy your internet pack, should NOT under any circumstance be able to control how exactly you use it. It is up to you (the consumer) and only you, how you wish to spend the 1GB 3G data pack you bought from your Internet Service Provider.

Its like the municipality telling you how you use the water that comes to your house. If you want to water plants you'll have to pay extra. How you use the water, should not be of any concern to the municipality. Whether you drink it, bathe in it, cook with it, or play Holi with it, it is your call

A scheme by prime Minister of India. In year 2018 CBSE introduced a new teaching technique for girl students in prestigious engineering institutions.

This Udaan scheme (a educational program) to give wings to girl children. Central Board of secondary education introduced this program under the provision of Prime Minister of India Narender Modi ji. In this several CBSE Institute are involved. The applicant must be girls only and thay must have chosen the science stream with physics, chemistry, mathematics as their major subjects in class 11. The applicant or candidate who want to apply Udaan scheme must have scored a maximum of 70% in thier tenth examination. CBSE Udaan scheme was launched first in New delhi, Nov 14 (IANS) with the aim to promote educational opportunities among girl students and address the challenge of lower girl enrollment rates in engineering colleges.
