The Idea from Blue Zoo on Vimeo.
As part of our long-running short films initiative, we pitched the question to our team "Can you visualise the frustrations of the creative process?" So we organised some brainstorming sessions on the problems with brainstorming sessions, had committee meetings on the pains of design by committee, and bounced ideas around about how we bounce ideas around. Embracing a minimal design language to focus on the characterisation, we created a short film which is a montage of relatable scenarios for the creative professional. Big thanks to Box of Toys Audio for the music and audio

The Origins of Klaus by Sergio Pablos from The SPA Studios on Vimeo.
Klaus opens in selected theaters on November 8, 2019, and on Netflix, November 15, 2019.
When Jesper (Jason Schwartzman) distinguishes himself as the postal academy’s worst student, he is stationed on a frozen island above the Arctic Circle, where the feuding locals hardly exchange words let alone letters. Jesper is about to give up when he finds an ally in local teacher Alva (Rashida Jones), and discovers Klaus (Oscar winner J.K. Simmons), a mysterious carpenter who lives alone in a cabin full of handmade toys. These unlikely friendships return laughter to Smeerensburg, forging a new legacy of generous neighbors, magical lore and stockings hung by the chimney with care. An animated holiday comedy directed by Despicable Me co-creator Sergio Pablos, Klaus co-stars Joan Cusack, Will Sasso and Norm Macdonald.
--------------------------------
Sergio Pablos is the real soul of a studio that since 2004 offers the highest quality in Animation for clients such as Universal, Blue Sky, Warner or Disney. We also develop original animation content, such as the box office hit “Despicable Me”. We are currently developing several other new exciting properties.

What's Opera Doc? (1957) from Panos Anestis on Vimeo.
Considered one of the greatest animated shorts in the history of cinema, "What's Opera Doc?" combines Richard Wagner's epic music with the playful world of Looney Tunes. The result is an aesthetically unique and sometimes, even dark, masterpiece.
Starring Mel Blanc & Arthur Q. Bryan. Written by Michael Maltese. Directed by Chuck Jones. Produced by Warner Bros.
[With English subtitles and music descriptions].
Trivia:
• The soundtrack consists of five wagnerian works (excerpts): "Tannhäuser", "Rienzi", "The Flying Dutchman", "Die Walküre" and "Siegfried". • This is the third of the three Warner Bros. shorts (the others being "Rabbit Rampage" (1955) and "Hare Brush" (1962)) in which Elmer defeats Bugs. When he finally "kills the wabbit"... he instantly shows regret. • For the ballet scenes, Chuck Jones and his animators studied dancers Tatiana Riabouchinska and David Lichine, who were working for Warner Bros. at the time. Both dancers had previously worked on "Fantasia" (1940), as reference models for the "Dance of the Hours" sequence. • In 1992, the United States Library of Congress deemed the film "culturally, historically, or aesthetically significant", and selected it for preservation in the National Film Registry.
