I think women are foolish to pretend they are equal to men. They are far superior and always have been. Whatever you give a woman, she will make greater. If you give her sperm, she will give you a baby. If you give her a house, she will give you a home. If you give her groceries, she will give you a meal. If you give her a smile, she will give you her heart. She multiples and enlarges whatever is given to her. So if you give her any crap, be ready to receive a ton of shit!

Once more, let me remind you what fascism is. I no need to wear a brown shirt or a green shirt. Fascism begins the moment a ruling class, fearing the people may use their political democracy to gain economic democracy, begins to destroy political democracy in order to retain its power of exploitation and special privilege.

Día de los Muertos - despite being pretty big in Mexico it is an observance and not a federal public holiday in Mexico. Traditions connected with the holiday include honoring the deceased using calaveras and aztec marigold flowers known as cempazúchitl, building home altars called ofrendas with the favorite foods and beverages of the departed, and visiting graves with these items as gifts for the deceased. The celebration is not solely focused on the dead, as it is also common to give gifts to friends such as candy sugar skulls, to share traditional pan de muerto with family and friends, and to write light-hearted and often irreverent verses in the form of mock epitaphs dedicated to living friends and acquaintances, a literary form known as calaveras literarias.
During Día de Muertos, the tradition is to build private altars ("ofrendas") containing the favorite foods and beverages, as well as photos and memorabilia, of the departed. The intent is to encourage visits by the souls, so the souls will hear the prayers and the words of the living directed to them. These altars are often placed at home or in public spaces such as schools and libraries, but it is also common for people to go to cemeteries to place these altars next to the tombs of the departed.

A wonderful speech from a man who has lived through the aftermath of what insurrection and sedition can do to a country! Arnold Schwarzenegger, whose father was a Nazi soldier, talks about the impact lies can have on a nation and its people. The former California governor goes on to pledge his support for President-elect Joe Biden as he seeks to unify the nation.
If you can convince the people to believe in absurdities, you can get them to commit atrocities. ~ Voltaire

It's getting real personal now - COVID-19's link to erectile dysfunction. Breathing issues, brain fog and a lingering loss of taste are just some of the long-term effects seen in coronavirus patients. Now, experts are warning that COVID-19 could also make it difficult to get an erection. As the world awaits a coronavirus vaccine, experts in Italy and the US are warning of another potential long-term consequence of COVID-19: erectile dysfunction.
During a recent interview with the US broadcaster NBC, American physician Dena Grayson said there was growing concern that COVID-19 could cause long-term difficulty getting an erection. "We know that it causes issues in the vasculature," Grayson said. "So this is something that is of real concern — not just that this virus can kill, but can actually cause long-term, lifelong potential complications." People infected with coronavirus who have previously suffered erectile dysfunction may also be more prone to developing COVID-19 pneumonia, according to Jannini.
That's because pneumonia entails the same comorbidities that are often associated with erectile dysfunction, he said, including respiratory difficulties, inflammation, hormonal issues, stress, anxiety, depression and endothelial dysfunction — or when the lining of the small arteries constricts.
"Erectile dysfunction is a bona fide marker of risk for pneumonia from coronavirus. But it is not necessarily a risk factor for getting the infection, that remains to be seen," Jannini said.

Dry nose?? Alternatives to sprays. What helps against a dry nose. In the cold season the nasal mucous membrane threatens to dry out. About causes and immediate help - and why boogers are harmful.
Q: The nose is actually responsible for filtering the air we breathe and catching pathogens as well as pollen and dust. Especially in autumn and winter, however, the mucous membranes are often dry, the nose itches and is then blocked. Why?
A: This is mostly due to external causes such as dry heating air or rooms with low humidity - in airplanes for example. The air is kept extra dry there so that the humid air does not condense on the walls of the cabin. Those who fly for a long time get a dry nose because the body releases moisture into the environment. In the nose, this is bad for the defense against pathogens.
Q: What can we do about dry air at home?
A: A nice tip is always green plants. They are often better than humidifiers because they have to be operated and cleaned properly. Otherwise a reservoir of bacteria will form in the device and the bacteria will then be swirled through the air. Otherwise ventilation helps.
Q: Nasal sprays are often used to relieve the symptoms. How useful is that?
A: These are always individual solutions. If a nasal spray is to be used, it is best to use an isotonic, salty one. This corresponds to the extracellular milieu of the nasal mucosa. Classically, these would be solutions with around nine grams of table salt per liter. From a scientific point of view, it is irrelevant whether the spray consists of sea salt water or a spring like Bad Ems. However, correct handling is also recommended here. There are spray bottles that have already integrated a technology that prevents the contents of the spray bottle from being colonized by bacteria. Or you can use a spray bottle that contains a preservative - but this can be harmful to the mucous membrane. There are also hypertonic spray solutions that have a decongestant effect, but should only be taken prophylactically.
Q: Because otherwise they are addicting? This idea persists.
A: This warning mainly relates to classic nasal decongestant sprays with ingredients such as xylometazoline or oxymetazoline, which are used for colds. If you use them for weeks, these sprays have a habituation effect, I don't want to speak of addiction. The effect is that the decongestant substances make the nose too dry and the desired effect, i.e. the decongestion of the nasal mucous membranes and turbinates, no longer occurs after a certain time. If you take such decongestant sprays for a week or a few days longer, it will hardly be harmful. But then you just have to take them off again.

I did not expect anything else watching last nights presidential debate as what I/we got. That was neither a debate nor even remotely presidential! As one TV anchor and chief political correspondent - Dana Bash - called it correctly: it was a prime AA ShitShow!!
You seen 2 old, above 70 year old guys trying to qualify to rule a country with an median age of the total population of 38.2 years; the male median age is 36.9 years; the female median age is 39.5 years. Due to the US American voting system one of them will it be.
The one in power right now did screw up royal during the past 3.5 years at multiple issues, he displayed once again inability to stem the torrent of half-digested thoughts and phrases that fly from his lips in an incoherent jumble, he’s is without a doubt a “undercover” racist and strives to become an authoritarian leader.
The latest revelations about his tax and business practices verify what is widely known: the guy is a conman! He got heaved to power 2016 by a poorly or insufficiently educated cult-like

30 seconds may be long, but they make all the difference. With a series of photos, actress Kristen Bell has shown how important it is to wash your hands thoroughly: for 20 to 30 seconds, with warm water, soap and in all places, as doctors recommend. The first of six pictures shows an unwashed hand that has been rubbed with a special cream. This cream makes germs visible under UV light. The hand glows almost white. No wonder: Normally there are about a hundred germs on every square centimeter of our hand. For the second picture, the hands were briefly rinsed with water and then shaken off. The effect is almost zero. Only a few spots are clean. A short hand washing without soap does not bring a big change (picture three). Only by cleaning with soap the white spots on the skin disappear. After six seconds of hand washing with soap a clear difference can already be seen. 15 seconds almost give the desired result, but only after half a minute the hand is really germ-free.
The type of soap is not decisive. Standard products clean just as well as expensive antibacterial soaps. Researchers at Korea University in Seoul proved this some time ago. In their two-part experiment they came to the conclusion that products with the germicidal ingredient Triclosan are not more effective than normal ones. What technology people use to wash their hands, on the other hand, does play a role. The duration is a factor. Also very important: very often thumbs, the edges of the hands and wrists are forgotten. According to the German Federal Center for Health Education (BZgA), women take these recommendations to heart more than men. In a survey conducted in 2015, female respondents stated that they wash their hands significantly more often. Observational studies by the London School of Hygiene & Tropical Medicine with around 250,000 people also support this. According to these studies, not even one in three men used soap and water in service station toilets, while the figure for women was 64 percent. To internalize the 30-second rule, doctors recommend singing Happy Birthday to you twice when washing your hands. If you're not into birthday songs, here are eight more hand washing songs - from A-ha to the Five Man Electrical Band

La Paz is Nr. 18 in the New York Times "52 places to go yo 2020" report. The La Paz area has resisted large-scale resort-style development and remained comparatively unknown to outsiders. Decades ago, local environmentalists pushed for the creation of what eventually became the expansive UNESCO Marine World Heritage protected area, a designation that aimed to preserve the coast and offshore areas, home to such rich biodiversity that the Sea of Cortez is known as the “Aquarium of the World.” Last year, La Paz passed one of the strictest single-use plastic bans in Mexico, which will begin going into effect this year.
At the same time, the city has undergone a massive, multiyear renovation of its waterfront malecón, or boardwalk, which extended its length by three miles, created bike lanes and added a skate park, fountains and sculptures by prominent Mexican artists illustrating local marine life.

In his best-selling work The Culture of Fear, sociologist Barry Glassner demonstrates it is our perception of danger that has increased, not the actual level of risk. Glassner exposes the people and organizations that manipulate our perceptions and profit from our fears: politicians who win elections by heightening concerns about crime and drug use even as rates for both are declining; advocacy groups that raise money by exaggerating the prevalence of particular diseases; TV shows that create a new scare every week to garner ratings.
In the age of Trump, our society is defined by fear. Indeed, three out of four Americans say they feel more fearful today than they did only a couple decades ago. But are we living in exceptionally perilous times? Glassner spells out the prices we pay for social panics: the huge sums of money that go to waste on unnecessary programs and products as well as time and energy spent worrying about our fears.
All the while, we are distracted from the true threats, from climate change to worsening inequality. In this updated edition of a modern classic, Glassner examines the current panics over vaccination and "political correctness" and reveals why Donald Trump's fearmongering is so dangerously effective.
Glassner's book, The Culture of Fear: Why Americans Are Afraid of the Wrong Things (Basic Books, 2010), is a national bestseller that was named a "Best Book of the Year" by Knight-Ridder newspapers and by the Los Angeles Times Book Review. Get it, delivered to Mexico, here...

Through the brilliance of Saturn’s rings, NASA's Cassini spacecraft caught a glimpse of a far-away planet and its moon. At a distance of just under 900 million miles, Earth shines bright among the many stars in the sky, distinguished by its bluish tint. This is only the third time ever that Earth has been imaged from the outer solar system.
The acquisition of this image marked the first time that inhabitants of Earth knew in advance that their planet was being imaged. The Cassini-Huygens mission is a cooperative project of NASA, the European Space Agency and the Italian Space Agency.
