Jon can only roll his eyes in response, his grandmother’s words echoing in his head about how they’ll get stuck like that if he keeps it up. ”…Or…” Jon raises an eyebrow. “Or…?” “Or…” Tim echos, drumming his fingers on the steering wheel. They roll to a slow, jerky stop. “He could just…not be human.”

Jon’s boyfriend — ex-boyfriend, he supposes at this point — is ghosting him. With the strange illness he’s seemingly contracted since their last date, this may be the least of his problems.

My favorite tidbit of info re: the haunting of hill house is that one of the writers on it used to do creepypastas. I loved their work and messaged them to congratulate them once they were like “Peace, I���m out of the creepypasta game.” They were quite nice about it and gave some advice. Hope they’re doing well now. Idk their name or I’d check in on them.
