Ceramic Workshop - Seramik Atölyesi – İDA Sanat

İnsanlığın en eski dostu olan toprak ile çocuklar Seramik Atölyesi’nde buluşuyor. İşlemesi hem kolay hem de zevkli olan seramik çamuruyla çocuklar hayal dünyalarını çamur ile şekillendirerek eğlenirken öğrenecekler.

Seramik atölyesinde çocuklar, kendilerine güven duyarlar, sabretmeyi öğrenirler, kin ve öfke gibi duygulardan arınarak bağımsız düşünebilme, gözlem yapabilme ve kendisini anlatabilme özelliklerini geliştirirler.

Çocukların denge, boyut ve perspektif kavramlarını öğrenebilmeleri için seramik ve sanat eğitimi vazgeçilmezdir.

Ahşap Oyuncak Atölyesi – Wooden Toy Workshop

Ahşap Oyuncak Atölyesi’nde çocuklar el becerilerini ve yaratıcılıklarını geliştirerek kendi tasarladıkları ahşap oyuncakarı üretmektedir. Ahşap oyuncak tasarlama eğitimi 4 yaş ve üstü çocuklar için özel üretilen makinelerde planlanmıştır. Eğitim ve atölyeler, bireysel veya grup olarak açık alanda, Oyuncak Kütüphanesi’nde veya okullarda gerçekleştirilir.

tölye kapsamında ilk olarak çocuklar ahşap bilgisi alarak ağaç çeşitlerini öğrenecekler. Bu öğrenme süreci dokunarak ve deneyimleyerek interaktif bir şekilde gerçekleşir. Ahşap eğitimi tamamlandıktan sonra makineler ve malzemeler hakkında bilgilendirme yapılır ve ilk yapılacak oyuncak olan “Topaç” tanıtılır. Makine ve malzeme kontrolü yapıldıktan sonra atölye için kullanılması zorunlu ekipmanlar (gözlük, önlük ve toka) kontrol edilir ve eşlik edecek sorumlu öğretmen ile birlikte ahşap atölyesine başlanır. Eğitim programı yaratıcı drama ve yaygın eğitim teknikleri ile desteklenerek deneyimleyerek öğrenme odaklı bir şekilde planlanmıştır. Eğitim süresine bağlı olarak tasarlanacak ve üretilecek oyuncaklar çeşitlenebilir ve eğitim tamamlandığında çocuklara katılımcı belgesi temin edilir.

Textile Workshop

In this workshop children can choose to design their own t-shirt or cushion. Starting from a white t-shirt, the children will use stencils to print their own ideas onto the fabric using colourful water-based indelible sprays and fabric-suitable pens. Or, the children may prefer to work on a cushion, colouring it in based on their own design, with fabric-suitable pens. Do you want to organise a workshops with your group of kids? Yes? Toy collection campaigns!

We continue our hard and unending work collecting toys for underprivileged children… In january we sent many boxes of toys all over Turkey: to Samsun, Trabzon,Siirt and Balıkesir. Dozens of children will now have a wide smile on their face, and we too extend our thanks to all our donors and our supporters. But these children which now play with these toys are just a drop in the ocean of underprivileged children who would love to receive your old books and toys. If you have any old toys or books that you would like to give to children in need, please visit our website or facebook group and get in contact with us. We would love to help you help children in need.

New Workshop - Hama Beads

Hama Beads - Hama Boyuncu

We would like to present to you one of our new workshops! This are hama beads, an amazing new toy from Denmark. Using these small beads, children of all ages can create their own wonderful and beautiful designs. Our trainers have practised the techniques required extensively and can now masterfully help your kids use their rich creativity and imagination to create lovely designs. This activity is an amazing educational tool as it boosts creativity, organised thinking, planning and foresight. It also helps develop motor skills for younger children and hand-to-eye coordination. If you would like to organise a group activity we definitely recommend you to try this great activity… children love it!

“Yedi kat küçülen” kağıt – “Seven Times Smaller” paper

In this activity children create their own miniature designs. First, they paint a large painting on a special material using many colours. This material is then placed in a normal oven for a few minutes, and it shrinks down to a much smaller size, resulting in a charming miniature painting. A wonderful activity that we have tried many times with various ages of kids... and every group loved it! Contact us for more information.

Sand Painting - Kum Boyama

It is time to present another wonderful activity we do here at Oyuncak Kutuphanesi. This is a creative and educational activity where children design a picture by using glue and coloured sand. By using glue and then sand successively, the children can create a multi-coloured and multi-textured beautiful design. It’s fun and it develops kids’ artistic talents.

Happy faces

This is what happens when you send us your old toys... we send them to many kids who will play with them and love them. Many of these kids are less lucky or underpriveledged and so, by sending them toys we give them a chance to be happier, but also to play with educational toys. International short-term Erasmus+ project in EU - Slovenia

Oyuncak Kutuphanesi has recently participated in a European short-term youth exchange in Slovenia. We are proud to report that the project was a success and our volunteers have returned to Turkey with new experiences! Our team at 7am

Yes, it's really 7am. That's when we started preparing for the 4th Toy and Playing festival in Ankara 2017. We were so happy to see the happy faces of kids and families for over 10 hours. Of course, we would like to thank everyone in our AMAZING team. There are also many people who are not in this picture who helped made the festival happen. We thank you too. Ponies! Our events have ponies!

Did you miss our festival in May? We had ponies, clowns, balloons, facepainting, wooden toy workshops, educational activities, traditional turkish games, crafts, theatre, capoeira and of course free food (yum). 500 toys to Urfa (yes! it’s really five hundred!)

Recently, Oyuncak Kutuphanesi sent ten boxes full of toys to various schools in Urfa. Altogether we sent around five hundred toys and books to young children, and we hope that they will be very happy when they receive them. We could not have organised without the support of our donors, so we owe a big thank you to everyone who has donated toys or books to Oyuncak Kutuphanesi. Sanat Fuari in Umitkoy

A few months ago Oyuncak Kutuphanesi participated in a Sanat Fuari in Umitkoy. We brought a playful flair to the event, as we organised three different workshops: Kolay Ebru, Fashion Atolyesi, and Yedi Kat kuculen Kagit. Educational and fun, as always.  The kids loved it!

This is how we do it! This is a photo from our toy festival in May, just before the opening. At our festival we set up a massive box... and the lovely people of Ankara came and filled us up! Another successful toy campaign

Thanks to everyone who contributed to our toy campaigns... Another classroom of happy kids. Playing with toys, reading books, imagining new worlds with cars and dolls, all help the educational, social and mental development of children. We want our kids to be happy, clever, sociable and healthy. That's why we are here!
