finally came to a prototype design of vanity that i liked. originally, she was going to be silver and black, but brown is soooo pretty.

these characters are part of a sci-fi comic i will hopefully one day make.

a friend of mine wanted to roleplay hazbin characters as warrior cats. considering how batshit insane that would turn out, i said i'd be willing to give it a try. i haven't roleplayed in years, by far warrior cats, and i've never roleplayed a canon character in a fandom roleplay so. lots of weird new things to try out.

anyway, here are a few sketches of lucifer and velvette. i'm not, like, the best character designer on the planet (obviously), but having pre-existing designs to play with -- and some basic color limitations -- definitely made the task much less daunting.

these guys are unlikely to remain looking like this, but i wanted to share anyway!

it's that time of year... HAPPY PRIDE <3

i have only made ONE pride icon in my "normal" style & it was the first one i ever made, many moons ago. i like doing weird experimental stuff with it -- for example, the only colors used in this picture are the colors of the flags & it still kind of reads like dr. blossom's colors, which is neat.

i WAS going to use the ae/aer lesbian flag, but there are probably two of us on the whole entire planet of earth, so... not as recognizable as the regular lesbian flag haha

some rough sketches of mourning dove, the main character of a comic project i'm working on. i wanted to sketch some poses for her and get a feel of how to draw her since... i'll be drawing her a lot if i get this off the ground.

she has tritanopia, so the entire comic will be in a color scheme that is friendly to that. i may still decide to go with her "normal" color scheme since another plot point is relevant to her lack of sense of self, but we'll see.

finally named my fursuit! his name is Maskull after the main character in A Voyage to Arcturus. would recommend; it's like... surrealist and poststructural in a lot of ways despite being published prior to the establishment of poststructuralism. (look at me using my degree)

anyway, he's a puma! from space. he's a blast to draw. (:

normally, i make the background my sexuality (finflexible), but this time i made it my gender (androgynous)! i think my gender identity is more important to me than my sexuality (:

to the side, top to bottom, are the flags for finflexible, aromantic and polyamorous. (i'm not sure if the poly flag has "officially" changed yet, so i kept the old one for this year!)
