UnReLaTeD: Overflow Error - Chapter 1/Part 1
The story proper starts here.
I’ve been putting a lot of effort into the script, the sketches and these pages. The script for the entire story is at the midpoint now (the story has a classical three-act-structure), so at very least the script will definitely be finished. As for the comic itself... Well, Toby Fox *did* say Delta Rune would take a few eons to release, so something to pass the time with until then, I guess.

The model sheet I’m using for the human characters in “UnReLaTeD: Overflow Error”. Kris’ canonical high school self is absent, since they’re the only one who’s basic body shape isn’t the same as Frisk’s; I’m actually using a different model sheet for them, which I only finalized recently.

Playing around with Flowey’s face is fun.
Haven’t been posting here because, let’s be honest; barely anyone has commented on/reblogged the tumblr version so far. Ahahaha... Oh well, it’s gotten a bit of traction on dA, and it’s fun to draw (and a good exercise too), so I’ll keep going. This blog is just a bit late on the updates now.

UnReLaTeD: Overflow Error - Prologue/Part 6
First batch of pages in quite a while that I did entirely on my own, though friends gave feedback. Thanks to said feedback, I’ve also decided to go and get rid of the ugly Amerigo Font and handwrite most of the dialogue from now on, so previous pages will be edited retroactively.
Drawing Flowey is huge fun. His malleable face gives a lot of options. I’ve also never done shading for dimly lit scenes before, so there was a lot of experimentation here.

UnReLaTeD: Overflow Error - Prologue/Part 5
I have 50 pages of this comic sketched out so far and incidentally these are the only two of those on which Kris’ eyes are visible.
The backgrounds for Mt. Ebott are closely based on Temmie Chang’s artwork of them, and I’m honestly quite happy with how the color on them turned out. Need to keep challenging myself.

I said I was gonna draw lots of cute Christmas stuff, and what’s more Christmassy than a reindeer wearing tacky sweaters~?
I love my younger version of Noelle, mostly because I love drawing voluminous braids.

Now that she has made her debut in the comic, I can post this.
This is the model-sheet I sketched up for:
Undertale!Verse Noelle Holiday, Age ~10.
Unlike her teenage counterpart in Deltarune, the Undertale!Verse version of her seen in “Overflow Error” wears her hair in braids. Her personality however remains similar, smart, kind and a tad awkward.
The star-shaped Christmas Ornament she wears for a hairclip is actually a conduit she uses when casting magic, but more about that at a later point.

On the one hand coloring these pages means that making one of them literally takes me 3-4 hours.
On the other hand, it’s so much prettier. Gh.

Kris now has Frisk’s voice coming out of their mouth and they don’t like it. Now they can feel our confusion upon being dumped into Kris’ room in the start of DeltaRune.
I’ve discovered that I really love drawing Frisk’s hair. The way I decided to do it has just the right amount of floofy~

When I did the first couple of posts, I wasn’t entirely sure yet how to represent Frisk’s canonical outfit in my comic. I used a color scheme for Frisk’s clothing that was completely blue, however, I quickly realized it didn’t look the way I wanted it to, so I scrapped it and replaced it with what you see above. I updated the cover image (and it’s clean version) accordingly.
Also, consider the image of Frisk(?) above as a preview for upcoming pages. I have a couple finished already and will upload them as soon as I know if this blog is cleared to post in the tags now or not.

From my main blog
I’ve been working on a variety of stuff lately that’s kept me busy, but, hey! There’s always time to honor a great game, right?
Felt the powerful urge to draw this from the second this character said his name and I (correctly) guessed the twist regarding him. As much as I like Undertale, I never really had a character in it that I connected especially too or would call my “baby”. Ralsei, though? Give me 100 of him, please. It would be very beneficial to my SOUL, I assure you.
I mean seriously, a lonely, adorable, male White Mage who indirectly fulfills my burning desire to #SaveGoatbro? Sign me up, Toby. Just sign me up.

UnReLaTeD - Overflow Error Prologue: Cover Art (Lettered/Clean)
I have started drawing an Undertale/Deltarune Fancomic, for which I made a new blog.
@overflow-error-comic
Unfortunately, I didn’t realize new blogs don’t have their posts appear in the tags for up to 5 days after their first post. Hence why now I’m putting this on my main blog. A bit of promotion.
“UnReLaTeD Overflow Error” is a story about Kris, the protagonist of Deltarune, trying to break out of the endless cycle of resetting at the end of Chapter 1 in the hopes of finding a way to get past it, by finally resorting to loading an unknown, far-off Save File they’ve never seen before. Said Save File happens to be labeled with the name “Frisk”. What they find inside said File is what this story is all about.
I’ve been wanting to try and draw more comics for a long time, and Undertale/Deltarune’s simple but charming character designs really offered themselves up, so please, check it out and follow the new blog if you’re interested!!
I’m having so much fun with this story and would be happy to get some comments on it~!!

UnReLaTeD: Overflow Error - Intro
My first attempt at a long-form fancomic since, um... 2008. Yeeeaaaah, you don’t wanna see that last attempt.
Deltarune is awesome, so even though I never drew much Undertale fanart before, I felt the need to throw my own hat into the ring. Enjoy this little tale I came up with, please.

Disclaimer: This story is based on certain assumptions about the ending of Deltarune Chapter 1 that will remain unconfirmed for the foreseeable future. If you interpreted the ending differently, please don’t crucify me. I’m just trying to present my own take here.
