There’s nothing mere or mortal about you... That’s a compliment, by the way. In case it sounds weird.

Cauldron Paws: A collection of short exploratory comics about my little magical mouse and demon cat characters and the world they inhabit.
They were in one of the first ever silent comics I ever posted - Calling up a friend

This thread is fantastic, it’s completely worth it to go through for some of the replies.

Concept: a D&D campaign where a thousand years ago, a civilisation of unprecedented magical might wrought great works of enchantment that had never been dared before – which is to say they didn’t really know what they were doing, cooked up incredibly unsafe magical gadgets that leaked chaos energy everywhere, and eventually blew themselves up, ushering in a thousand years of darkness from which the world is only just recovering. The player characters basically work for the Fantasy EPA, questing to safely extract and contain ancient artifacts so they can be thrown into a volcano.
(The main gimmick distinguishing this premise from a typical campaign is that the magical items the party finds in dungeons are way overpowered, and also incredibly cursed, and they only get to keep them for a single delve; each time they come up for air, any items theyre recovered are bound in iron and carted off to be thrown into a volcano. They receive a stipend based on the threat level of the secured items, which can be used to purchase “safe” magical gear from approved vendors. These items are lower in power and generally lack interesting ancillary properties, but are also much less likely to melt faces.)

Oh, the hero is a straight-laced, charismatic, conventionally handsome, neurotypical, heterosexual white man who trusts the government and lives in a bland, flavorless relationship with a subserviant, less-talented woman whose life revolves around him, and I WASN’T supposed to like the villain more? My bad
