You'll just have to overpower this terrible things by doing more good things, you feel like you've went back on your promise by hurting somebody? Then do the opposite to recover, you're not going to help yourself or anybody else by being strung up on what's happened, but you can heal if you focus on the future, on your future, on the future that kid is now going to have thanks to you

But you did heal, you healed that child of a future of abuse. There are some people in this world who don't deserve the life they've been given, so by taking that thing out you healed the world of a plague. It's hard to accept but you did good
