I'd easily say that crystal is one of my fav characters from cp2077 even tho she's not in my game :D I love seeing everything you post with Crystal and I see how attached you are to her, it's really cute <3

Keep doing what you're doing because you're good at it and your skill when it comes to video game photography really inspires me!

DRIFTING INTO DARK

A year ago today, I booted up Cyberpunk 2077 for the first time and created my V - Crystal. I managed to finish the main story and most of the side quests in a little over a week - learning about Cyberpunk lore, getting to know all these cool characters, exploring Night City, and facing the death itself... right through her eyes. It was one hell of a ride; an experience that, even a year after, I'm continuously thinking of, I remember it in great detail and associate many pleasant irl memories with.

Since then, I decided to turn Crystal into a completely separate character, with her own story and personality, while retaining many traits of her original V self. It was only fair to set her birthday on the same day I created her - August 25th.

Still, it's impossible to think about my experience of playing through the game without thinking about her, and getting closer to the "anniversary" made me only reminisce more. Not often I get so attached to a video game character, especially the one I created myself, but CDPR did a great job making V relatable.

I'm still getting emotional thinking about her conversation with Johnny in that apartment building in Pacifica, them looking back on what they've been through at the oil fields, sitting for god knows how long on that rooftop, because I was genuinely scared for her life and I just couldn't make that fateful decision.

It's unreal that I spent so much time on this game, without even starting a second playthrough. Nearly 300 hours of playtime, 2/3 of which were spent on nothing, but exploring the city and taking pictures, and I enjoyed every minute of it. Damn, I even made some friends along the way.
