Can you tell us about any orca beanies please? :3

Waaa !! This blog got left a little abandoned for the last year because i couldnt figure out how scheduling worked and some of my favorite info sites went down for a month or two nwn; my bad! Thank you for this ask !!

How could i talk about orca beanie babies without bringing up Splash the Whale?

This beanie is one of the original 9, a palette swap of Flash the Dolphin :3 In Flash's poem, it references that Flash taught Splash to read! Very cute <3

Among other orca beanies is Waves, seen in the top left on his back! Theres also the seaworld exclusives Fin (top right), Striker (below Fin), and Jonah (bottom left) <3 and of course, a lesser known beanie, Anchor (bottom right)!

The seaworld exclusives boasted a fancy fluffy textured fur and tags that contained whale facts instead of poems :3 Its actually surprisingly hard to find any info on Striker and Jonah, since they're seaworld releases from 2009 and 2002 respectively, while Fin is from the 2011 release! Each of them came in a set of other seaworld-themed beanies as part of their promotional collection to sponsor marine conservation efforts!

I actually can't seem to find what their facts were except for Fins, which is "Fun Fact: The top predator of the sea, and the largest member of the dolphin family, the orca lives in pods with 5 to 30 members"

Waves however is part of a series of beanies of a very specific "sitting position" which I own quite a few of!

Echo the dolphin, Seaweed the otter, Slippery the seal and Jolly the walrus! I love how many beanies are in these little unannounced "sets" to collect them in <3

Fun fact! Flashy is the only beanie baby with this tail fabric! But he shares a body fabric with Periwinkle the bear!
