figured i should actually post about this here lol hiii, ive been streaming w/ my new vtuber model on twitch lately! i'm ottonevermore on twitch, anyone who sees this is welcome to come and hang out <3

so far it's mostly been art streams w/ my mic off, but i'm also planning on chatting and playing some games in the future. (i'll be exploring the new stardew valley update tonight!) I'd predict 60% of streams will be art w/ mic off, and 30% will be gaming, chatting, etc.

for now my plan is to stream every Saturday starting around 11 pm EST, but that might change once i get used to streaming again!

hi I like music and have NRB brainrot so I made a playlist of (almost) every song named, referenced, or sung in a Board Game Club episode.

DISCLAIMER- the playlist is (of course) imperfect and incomplete, since I'm only one person with limited musical knowledge and googling capabilities. The NRB Wiki helped a lot- the articles included some references that I might not have known and saved me a lot of research!

If any of yall can identify anything I couldn't, or know of any references I missed altogether, please check out my spreadsheet for this project, and feel free to comment on that or reply to this post! I made one huge playlist and also smaller playlists separated by year (besides 2020 and 2021, which i put together). Also, I didn't include any duplicate references, even between the different years. They feature everything from 90s/2000s pop, to 70s/80s rock, to classic music from the 50's and earlier, to old children's' nursery rhymes -- truly an Experience. Enjoy!

whoops i forgot about tumblr, my bad- i still have some NRB art left but my backlog is kinda running out lol nothing too wild about this one, just extra versions/outtakes from my NRB Cthulhu series!

Scarlet is Teri the maid, who can be seen in the background of Ivy's drawing. But this is an even cooler and more ominous Teri!

Mustard is still Carlton, but how I originally drew him - aka facing the viewer.

Green is still Buck, but how I originally drew him - aka looking a lot more like IRL Tom

Peacock is some of the many sketches I did before settling on a pose/composition. Harry's drawing made me a little evil inside.

Plum is still River, but how I originally drew him - aka facing the viewer. There also might be some slight color variations from the final- I changed the palette around some and I don't remember when I saved this version.

White is just the isolated background of the final piece, but with some fun radial blur/chromatic aberration! I've decided this one is an honorary Dom piece. shoutout dom allen

NRB Plays Betrayal at House on the Hill - Part 3/3 Madame Zostra - Linocut Print style Father Rhinehardt - Hellsing's style extra words + art info under the cut!

The concept for this series is I wanted to draw each character in a different style that went with their vibes- ranging from specific artists, to art-making processes, to straight up preexisting IP

"The one of cups. Only dangerous when drawn alongside the two of girls." For the longest time, I wasn't sure what style to do for Mme. Zostra- I wanted to make an old fashioned circus poster, but I couldn't pinpoint a single defined style for those. So instead, I went with a linocut/wood print style which I'm pretty damn happy with. Looking back, I wish I'd given her a beard, cause Laurie mentions that Mme. Zostra worked as a bearded lady before becoming a fortune teller. but I can't be too upset cause linocuts are pretty

"Gut ist der Schlaf. Der Tod ist besser." yes I watched all of the original hellsing as research for this drawing! yes I had a great time and would recommend it! no I haven't watched hellsing ultimate yet! the episodes are very long and it intimidates me! anyway shoutout to tom for basically handing me a predetermined art style so I wouldn't have to pick one- I got to go wild and draw a badass vampire priest man and the hellsing style was pretty easy to work with so its a win all around imo

NRB Plays Betrayal at House on the Hill - Part 2/3 Darren "Flash" Williams - DC Comics' Style Heather Granville - Scooby Doo Style

The concept for this series is I wanted to draw each character in a different style that went with their vibes- ranging from specific artists, to art-making processes, to straight up preexisting IP

"That's great, I'm into it all!" Flash's style was inspired by western comics! specifically, I think I referenced some old panels of Robin from the Batman comics. But honestly I don't know much about that kind of stuff so I'm assuming LOL

"I bear absolutely no resemblance to any characters from any intellectual property." it's Heather Granville, and NOBODY else. she's the character from this cool board game called Betrayal at House on the Hill. I'm just a huge fan of this board game so I decided to draw one of the player character options. I don't know why she's in this series. She has nothing to do with No Rolls Barred. Never has, never will. and I don't know why she looks like that. she's definitely not inspired by any preexisting characters in any shows or movies. (I'm gaslighting you.)

"new" series yippee! (...i made these drawings in november lmao) honestly i love NRB's betrayal videos, i rewatch the 1st one and the baldur's gate one all the damn time The concept for this series is I wanted to draw each character in a different style that went with their vibes- ranging from specific artists, to art-making processes, to straight up preexisting IP

"Knock fucking knock!" Zoe's style was inspired by/taken from Edward Gorey, a favorite artist of mine! I love the way he drew strange little solemn children, its absolutely perfect for Zoe. Of course we also have the shadow of Knick Knack the clown in the background, and my favorite character martin :)

"It's-a me! ...weegee..." For Brandon, I wanted a goofy, childish style, so I chose a classic rubber-hose vibe! Not much more to say about it other than that. These definitely aren't my favorite drawings from this series (the third pair are) but I love Edward Gorey and martin so much that I'm pretty happy with these anyway!

good riddance 2023 LMAO I had a great time in the first 6 months but the last 6 were lowkey hell :) luckily I feel like I'm doing better now and I'm ready to draw more little guys 💪

here's my recap for 2023, aka Local Artist Cant Stop Drawing Different Personas for Themself - Jan, Feb, Mar, and July are all my.. livestream persona? I guess that's what I'd call it. Mar in particular is my vtuber model art, and July is my pngtuber - Apr is just a random drawing I did based on a drawfee challenge - May is a drawing of me and my best friend (shoutout to her fr) - June is a redraw of a super old character (named Skye I think?). that was when I was trying out a different art style - Aug is an attempt to OC-ify me and my best friend for a comic I was going to make. I never finished the comic but I'm really happy with the design pages so I might post those eventually - Sep is a vent piece tbh, I didn't have a lot from that month besides depressing shit so you get mitski lyrics - Oct is when I started getting back into NRB and started making a LOT of art, so I just chose my favorite (titled: non-biblically-accurate Buck McFadden) - Nov is The Minstrel of Ravenswood Bluff - Dec is Cora Love

NRB Plays Dread Cora Love

when I was doing some historical fashion research for other NRB Dread art, I found this beautiful 1880s dress and I thought it'd be perfect for Miss Love! and also I just really wanted to draw her cause I think she's neat

I've also been trying to draw the other NRB Dread characters! ...the keyword is "trying" though lol I plan to make a tarot-themed miniseries with the others from Dread, but I keep getting too in the weeds with Historical Accuracy vs. Cool Dread Vibes vs. Real-World Practicality and its been exploding my brain a little bit lmao i wanna do these characters and the setting and literally everything about the series justice, so it'll be a little while before those are ready to post i think lmao

and of course now that im posting this i see a bunch of things i want to change about it sgdhslfkhs
