Now that the Shukaku arc is over I have some comments. I feel like the characters are kinda forced into the molds of their parents. Shinki was kinda.....out of character? In the chunin exams he was rather cunning and learns from others and his own experience although a little reluctant at first. Ex: when Gaara tells him that he is no match for Momoshiki.

In the Shukaku arc he was stubborn and kinda annoying with how much of a hypocrite he was.

Also what in the world would Gaara want Shinki to learn from Boruto. To chill a bit? Idk I feel like they could have done that with anyone else since he is the must uptight person I’ve ever seen. Honestly I think Shinki’s ideology is pretty useful. Boruto is really bordering Mary Sue.

Idk maybe I’m just salty that shikadai still has no interaction with his suna family. And when Shinki just declared Boruto his rival. I felt that came out of nowhere and is out of character. Shinki doesn’t seen like the persistent type. He seems like the guy that respects other’s ideas. God I need to read the manga, I heard it’s way better.
