UNPOPULAR OPINION: Music Video concepts matter MUCH LESS than the sound of a song. Groups like TWICE (who have changed their sound now) who used to keep the same sound for each song would never ever get criticized for it, because the videos were different, however other groups can come out with songs that sound really different with similar music videos and get called lazy for not “switching their concept”. It’s stupid, while they’re promoting the stages won’t have the video playing in the back, and really the most important visual elements of the comebacks are costumes and choreography.

OPINION: CLC’s “Me” is the best female track of 2019 so far PERIOD.

UNPOPULAR OPINION: BTS are getting a little boring. I feel like the titles they present aren’t nearly as engaging as their previous stuff, and it doesn’t interest me nearly as much as it should. 

I’m not saying their dark & wild days were their best, or their O! R U L8 2?, but I just wish they’d give us another track like BS&T or I Need U again. Something interesting which suits their “kpop” side more (fake love was pretty good though).

UNPOPULAR OPINION: I like girl-crush concepts more than cute concepts. There’s only a couple of groups I stan with the cute concept. And no, none of them are TWICE.

UNPOPULAR OPINION: Sol-T is one of the best girl-crush groups ever and you’ll never convince me otherwise. 2 great rappers, 2 great vocals but unfortunately they’ve only had one comeback to my knowledge. Criminally underrated.

UNPOPULAR OPINION: Jennie WAS lazy for a while (who knows why) but she isn’t anymore and is working on improving her performances. Anyone still hating on her for her stage presence is just a hateful person, she’s grown so much since the end of 2018. Noone wants that kind of negativity byeeeeee

UNPOPULAR OPINION: I absolutely hated Dalla Dalla by ITZY and it’s in my top 3 most hated songs in K-Pop. However, I think the members have the potential to become some of K-Pop’s best talents, so I’ll be looking out for their comeback.

POPULAR OPINION: Both Dreamcatcher and CLC deserve more recognition. They’re talented, sweet and unique. (They’re also all best friends so that’s fab).

UNPOPULAR OPINION: BlackPink are one of the best all-rounder groups of the third generation and no, you can’t change my mind.

UNPOPULAR OPINION: Y’all nasty if you hate on a group because they “don’t deserve to be popular”. Every group who manages to debut after enduring training deserves to be popular, and you should respect the groups that are, even if you dislike them.
