Well, there go the tears 😭 I’m so happy but so sad at the same time,,, I’ve been reading haikyuu for years now and to think that it’s over 😭😭😭 I cant handle it.
It’s been a long ride but it was worth it. I love Haikyuu so much and there’s no questioning it’s position as one of my favorite series of all time.

It’s no problem at all! I’m always glad to help anyone curious about them if you have any more questions about the concert or just general info about the comeback and the boys feel free to ask me and I’ll answer the best I can.
I love that too. The variety of genres they implement into their songs is really cool and I agree, there’s probably at least 1 BTS song that people would enjoy! Hope you like some of the ones I listed lol.
If you have any more questions, ask and I’ll do my best to answer! If you end up choosing to go to one of there shows, I hope you have fun!
Should I go to a BTS concert, even though I’m a casual fan?
I have recently been getting more into Korean culture, Kpop included. I really enjoy BTS’ music and am becoming a fan, though I would by no means call myself a super fan…yet.
I just saw that their Map of the Soul tour will be coming to my city in the US. I feel like because they are only coming to so many American cities that I should really take advantage of my luck and get tickets.
From what I understand, other types of concerts are fun, but their concerts (and Kpop concerts in general) are absolute experiences. Though I’ve been to lots of different kinds of shows, I’ve never actually been to any kind of concert, and I feel a Kpop concert would be super worth being there for because of just how much goes into their performances, fan interactions, etc. that you’d never get anywhere else.
So main my question is, will I still enjoy it even though I’m a more casual fan, or…do I need to be a superfan to understand and enjoy what’s going on?
I dislike the loudness and strobing—(on stage, the lights in the audience should be fine)—at concerts, (and I like rock and metal music, which are even more an issue in that regard, if I were to go to one of those concerts), so that’s why I haven’t been to any. I’d bring my noise cancelling headphones to help with the noise level, but if their concerts are really only worth it for superfans…it’s probably not worth the struggle with noise, crowds, etc. for me to go.
Also…how intense is the noise?? Obviously it’s going to be intense because, well, it’s a concert…but do most people find it bearable? Or loud enough—with regard to the show, the fans, or both—that they didn’t enjoy it?
I know their songs will be mostly in Korean, but will the whole show itself be pretty much entirely in Korean? Or is there some English in their American shows?
What are fans like at their concerts?—specifically their fans in America. What do they act like in general? Are they welcoming to new fans? What’s the demographic—is it mostly teenage girls? (I ask because teenage girls’ screams, are, well…the highest and loudest. Of the shows I’ve been to, the one whose noise level bothered me most is the one at which the fans were pretty much all teenage girls)
Also, would getting the cheaper seats in the back dampen my experience? Is it really worth it to pay for something closer (again, for a more casual fan)? Would being in the back help with noise level in any way? Would it make it worse?
Any specific recommendations for songs I should listen to, things I should watch, know, or become familiar with beforehand if you think I should go?
…Anything else you think I should be informed about before making my decision?
It’s a few months away, so I’ve got time to listen to more of their music, and potentially become a super fan, and join the ARMY before long XD
But I know their tickets will sell out fast so I should probably get them right away if I want to go, and I thought I’d check with some people who have maybe already been to their concerts to get more information and see if I should do that or not, according to my feelings now

No problem! Glad that I could be of some help!
@i-prefer-the-term-antihero idk if you’re still curious about this, but I found a few clips and put them together from last tour. (Pls mind my horrendous screaming and bad attempts at singing along lol)
Keep in mind this is when I had floor seats so everything is much louder. Like I mentioned cameras don’t really capture all of the sound so the audio is really bleary.
This video is when the rapline performed Outro: Tear and in my opinion this is when the bass was the harshest, in the video you can hear it booming so loud the boy’s voices can’t even be heard at times. From what others tell me who went to the same show but weren’t on the floor like I was, they said that it wasn’t bad and that the bass wasn’t as strong from where they were and also that they could hear the boys better.
I asked some others who’ve had floor seats as well and the consensus is the same, it’s harder to hear the fanchants from the floor sections and it’s harder to hear the boys during bass heavy tracks like the one in the video.
If you’re still interested in going, taken into account your dislike of heavy bass and that you’re a casual fan, seats that are further away are the safest option.
I think you could see in the video, but there are really big screens that show the boys too so you’d still get a good view of them while performing, maybe even better, I’ve heard that some people who had barricade seats (the very very first row) couldn’t even see the boys because of how high the stage was! I had some difficulty too because even tho I wasn’t at the very front I’m still short lmao.
Yeah,,, this was just in case you were still interested!

@i-prefer-the-term-antihero I’m glad I was able to be of help! It means a lot to me that my super long responses didn’t turn you away. I, and many other armys, tend to be really long-winded when it comes to talking about the boys that it sometimes turns people away, but it comes from a good place, we’re just excited to talk about them!
Of course! Some of my favorite songs are:
-Hold Me Tight
-Run
-Home
-Path/road
-Rain
-2!3!
-House of Cards
-Outro Her
-Fake Love
-GoGo
-Pied Piper
-Like and Like pt.2
-134340
-Love is Not Over
-Young Forever
-Paradise
-Singularity
-Stigma
-Jamais Vu
-Butterfly
-Just One Day
-The Truth Untold
-Whalien 52
-Spring Day
-Tomorrow
Those are all some of my favorite “chill” songs of theirs. I listen to those most often because I usually like to listen to softer/more laid back music that I can put on in the background while I’m doing something (like driving or work)
My favorite BTS song of all time tho is called Dead Leaves (it’s called Autumn Leaves on Spotify)
I like a lot of their “hype” track too, some of those that I really enjoy are:
-Mic Drop (the original version)
-Cypher 3 Killer, and Cypher 4
-No More Dream
-21st Century Girl
-Outro: Wings
-Boys With Fun
-Danger
-Ma City
-Dionysus
-Baepsae
-Trivia: Just Dance
-Anpanman
-Ddaeng
-Outro: Tear
Really, they’ve explored many different genres throughout their discography! I love their music so much because of the variety, hopefully, you’ll like some of my favorites lol.
Ah, this is off-topic, but last time you asked if I had videos of the bass during the concert and I managed to dig through my videos and find two short ones without too much of my screaming lol. For some reason, Tumblr won’t let me insert them here so I’ll try and send them another way.

Hey @i-prefer-the-term-antihero ! The bass for the softer songs definitely wasn’t nearly as bad as the bass on their more “hype songs.” They have speakers throughout the stadium, but in my experience, the vibration in the upper levels isn’t as powerful as the vibration in the floor sections. Videos tend to be very blurry and full of screaming and so the vibration and bass doesn’t really get heard :/
The upper levels in my experience aren’t as bad as the noise in the lower levels. There are speakers up there but the closer you are to the stage, the louder it tends to be (this is just my experience tho, some other armys might think differently)
Yup, they play music videos on the big screens before the concert starts, but they’re nowhere near as loud as the music during the actual concerts, they’ll also show the mandatory safety videos and what to do if there’s an emergency Armys use this time to find their seats and get something to eat or drink before the show starts.
There are entrances you take  (if you get a ticket the entrance you have to take will be written on there) that will take you fairly close to where your seats are, so if you get a seat in the nosebleeds you won’t have to worry about having to walk through the lower levels where it’s louder.
No problem! Some armys make jokes about not telling other fans or casual fans correct information so I’d like to help as much as possible and as accurately as I can!
As of the membership presale yesterday, We’ve been informed that there will be no dynamic pricing, so you don’t have to worry about that!
Read more again lmao:
Fake tickets are a possibility when purchasing from resale sites, websites like stubhub and vividseats have a “real ticket guaranteed” thing, so if someone ends up selling you a fake ticket, the’ll give you a full refund. (Hopefully, that never happens tho!)
The setlist for the concert isn’t out yet, but considering it’s their “map of the soul tour” The songs will likely be mostly from their last album Map of the soul: Persona and the album that’s coming out later this month Map of the soul: 7 and maybe some old classics aswell.
The army b0mb gets it’s name because the globe at the top is supposed to look like a b0mb lmao
Tumblr media
(it kind of looks like one??? I’ve always thought it looks like a baby rattle tho lol)
I’m gonna be honest with you, I don’t get the point of soundcheck either. You pay so much money to listen to them perform for a couple of minutes and that’s about it. I’ve never thought it was worth it (you don’t meet the boys, tbh I think it’s because some armys are delusional and want to have a y/n moment lmao)
The army bombs, there are three versions (the picture I sent is the latest version) You can buy them off of sites like ebay or amazon but you have to be careful and make sure they aren’t fake, cus if you buy a fake one it might not sink up with the others during a concert. You can buy official ones off of the official BIgHit website here https://bighitshop.us/ but with the international shipping it might end up costing more than it would if you were to buy it at a concert.
From the past, there were a few merch booths inside the venue, but they only sold certain things. The booths outside are where all of the merch is. The time when it’s the least crowded is probably a little bit after they start letting people inside the venue. You don’t have to worry about the concert starting without you because they start letting people into the stadium a good hour or so before the show is actually supposed to begin.
The merch they sell are things like photos, stickers, keychains, t-shirts, hoodies, sweatpants.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Here’s some of the stuff they had last time (and yes it’s also expensive *cries*
During the show, it would probably be hard to go to the bathroom or get food. Most people usually go before, but since most people would be focused on watching the performance, there probably wouldn’t be many people in the bathroom or getting food (I guess the biggest problem would be getting out of your seat and having to go through a bunch of people that are jumping and dancing)
There is a short intermission, and between songs (they’ll probably do some kind of solo stage for each of them) They’ll play videos/trailers that are a couple of minutes long so maybe you would have time to go during then!
The entire venue will be seated, during the performances, everyone is standing, but during the little videos/trailers that play in between, people usually sit for a little bit before the next song starts.
Let me know if you have any more questions!
A reminder that general sales are tomorrow Friday the 7th at 3pm local venue time! (like I said you can either try buying them then or wait a while for resale tickets)
Another tip, if you’re gonna buy resale tickets, don’t buy them as soon as they come out because they’ll be way more expensive, wait for a while (maybe a month before the show) for the prices to start dropping again.
I hope this helped and I hope that if you decide to go you’ll have fun! Let me know if there’s anything else I can help you with!
