hey everyone!

as you can probably tell, i haven’t been the most active this year and i really apologize for that and thank you for your understanding. i would like to thank you for your continued support during this period of absence <3 i’ve been dealing with a lot of things including school, exams and personal stuff. especially my mental health, cuz it’s been really bad lately, which is why i took a break from posting on here (and all my other sideblogs). yet, i really felt that i needed a creative outlet for my feelings and i decided to give poetry a try. i immediately felt inspired to write, and i’ve written quite a few poems. i decided that i’d really like to share my voice with the world, and i decided to create a tumblr account to post my poems.

you don’t have to, but i’d really appreciate it if you shared your thoughts on them and any constructive criticism you may have :)

“let me braid your hair,” her eyes twinkle with a mischievous grin on her face. max raises her eyebrows and widens her eyes, aghast at even the possibility of the suggestion.

“no. absolutely not.”

“oh, come on! you promised,” el pouts her lips, her eyes silently pleading with max. “and friends don’t. lie.”

“well,” max looks at el through her lashes with a playful smile. “it’s a good thing we’re not friends but girlfriends then.”

“ugh, max!” el rolls her eyes and laughs, slightly shoving her girlfriend. “you know i love being your girlfriend, but i would love it even more if you let me braid your hair,” she beams.

max sighs and gets up to grab a hair tie from her dresser. “fine,” she says as she hands el her black hairtie. “go for it.”
