August sunset and the ripples on the water. spreads and never rests

August regret I hope to move beyond it let September be my best.

August deep breath the season is now ending watch the sun rise on the next

Eurydice fell in love with the darkness

there was a beauty in the unknown, she thought,

'Here, there is no fear except my own.

'Here I am free.'

Eurydice found a home in death

The light did not tempt her

She looked out and saw

too much space for breath

She did not want to return.

Orpheus stood no chance,

When he turned around,

She smiled.

and are too often

forgotten.

So darling those scars are not who you are

You are far too infinite to be explained by mistakes.

thinking that grace and gentleness

could get her anywhere

and it took her years to realise

that mountains cannot be moved by rain

what it takes to move a mountain

is a fucking hurricane.

comforting

hellish.
