a king/button quail for marchirp day 1! this is a promptlist by @elliottnotyet . i will be doing these at a leisurely pace as long as i enjoy them since they're much more demanding than the Fungyn designs. its a comfy zone though, im looking forward to sharpening my rendering and training myself to draw again lol a button quail was at the request of my partner @beefies , as quail are the first livestock we want to get in the future :) they are sweet little creatures!

Note
Are there any dinosaurs with frills around their necks??
if you mean like the jurassic park's Dilophosaurus, then no! this is the type of structure we would see correlates to in existing skull fossil material and that would likely fossilise itself as the frilled lizards frill is a result of a very derived hyoid (these make the tongues in reptiles).

HAPPY GOBLIN WEEK!!! to kick it off here is a pretty comprehensive ref for making nevverse goblins. ive made it intentionally so almost anything goes because of gene mixing and magic and all that. "inherited traits" here are anything that came from magic-aided mixing with peoples Goblins otherwise couldnt have kids with naturally.
