No I don’t feel bad when I do something hurtful, yes I still apologize, but I apologize because I know if I don’t it’ll be more of an inconvenience if I had just apologized, plus it makes me look good. Win win

I have this weird personal issue where

If I meet someone and they have already been officially diagnosed or have self diagnosed themselves with NPD or BPD

We're chill, it's cool. Hi, buddy.

But if they do it after I've already known them for a while, I feel personally offended by it and begin to point out every little hole in their (self) diagnosis as humanly possible because I don't want to accept them being like me

Like a "it's my mental illness, not yours" feeling
