A new painting that describes the structure of the Heavens, according to our ancestors.

There are 13 levels above us, in which diverse celestial bodies and phenomena can be found. In one of the levels moves the Sun, in others are constellations, comets and stars. The first and lowest Heaven, for example, is the place of origin of rain, and home of the Moon. Other levels are associated with the four directions, that exist horizontally as well as on a vertical plane. The twelfth Heaven is Tamoanchan, where the Teteo created the world; and the thirteenth Heaven is Omeyocan, the Place of Duality, the place of Omecihuatl and Ometeotl, the dual Lady and Lord who are the sum of all beings, the cycles and time and the totality of space.

The Heavens are held by five columns, represented by trees, which keep them in position.
